So backed up we had no choice but to cancel

When we arrived 15 minutes prior to our scheduled late morning start time, the staging area was jam packed with dozens of people. Upon approaching the desk, the cashier advised that they were running 45 minutes behind, that pace of play was running about 5 hours, and that there was no way we would finish in the daylight. Upon further inquiry, they acknowledged that there were 7 foursomes in front of us waiting to go out, which would have been much more than 45 minutes. The only reason a course should be running 45 - 60+ minutes behind is a frost delay, but the weather was nowhere close to frosty that morning. Weather was bone dry and in the mid-60's. $125 per person didn't seem a fair price to wait at least an hour, wait on every shot, and maybe play two-thirds of the holes, so we cancelled and walked away extremely disappointed.

Flat but in great condition

The layout is nothing to get excited about - it is almost completely flat and nearly every hole runs parallel to the next - but the course is in remarkably good condition, from the tee boxes, to the fairways, to the greens, which were fast but fair.

Refused to honor Youth on Course cards

My kids and I played Jurupa Hills on Wednesday, December 27, 2017. The pro shop employee, who appeared to be an assistant pro, refused to honor my kids' Youth on Course cards, claiming that the Youth on Course program was "suspended" during the holidays. Needless to say, there was nothing about any suspension on the online list of Youth on Course discounts, or on Jurupa Hills' own web site. Using my phone, I showed the Youth on Course web site to the pro shop employee, and he acknowledged that it didn't mention any suspension, but he still refused to honor the Youth on Course discount. That meant I had to pay four times the price for each of my kids. Very disappointing! If I had known that was going to happen, we would have played at a facility that offers better value, of which there are quite a few nearby, including Goose Creek, Hidden Valley, and several in Corona. Jurupa Hills is an acceptable overall value when the kids only pay $5, but not at twilight rates, or even junior rates.

Everything great except pace of play

I hadn't played Trilogy for over a dozen years, and it was better than I remembered it. Nice layout and in good condition. Well worth the $30 twilight rate. Everything was great except the pace of play. In speaking with the staff and the groups stacked up behind us, it sounds like Saturday afternoons are usually overcrowded, but other days are better.

Shows recent improvement

This is certainly not a high-end course compared to many others in Riverside County, but it was in significantly better shape than it has been over the past few years. The tee boxes and the greens were in really good condition, and the fairways were respectable. Even the pace of play was good. There was no one in front of us the whole round. For about $24 on Memorial Day, it was a solid value. We did not use the range, which is mostly dirt and very little grass.

Narrow fairways

This is a challenging course with several very narrow fairways and many hard to read greens, with similarities to Redhalk and Cross Creek. The condition of the fairways and grass was so so, but the layout is great and the greens were in good shape. One of the par 3's has a bunker in the middle of the green, which is a bit gimmicky for my taste. Lots of elevation change. Course is located in a very nice neighborhood in the hills. Most of the holes have no homes on them. We played on a Friday afternoon in early May and the course was practically empty. No one in front of or behind us the entire round.
