It appears that the old struggles of Moon Valley Country Club are over. The course was in excellent shape tee to green, and the greens themselves were some of the purest I have ever played. If you get an opportunity to play the club be sure to take it! It was a great alternative, too, from the typical Arizona desert layout. If I lived closer, I would seriously consider joining...this strikes me as the type of course you could play every day and never get bored.

The staff and conditions were both top notch at Vistancia. They've done a great job getting this course back in awesome shape, and I look forward to playing it more throughout the winter. V's Taproom is one of the best 19th holes in the state, too. Definitely one of the courses at the top of my list to play.

This place was great to play and practice at...plus you can escape the heat! Many courses to choose from, and I was able to play 18 in less than two hours. A fun and fast alternative to playing a real course. I like that they are open late, too. Will definitely be back!

Had a really fun round this past Sunday at Verde River. The redesign of the course is beautiful, and staff did a great job of informing us of the changes and what to expect. The views of the surrounding mountains here are awesome - some of the best you'll find anywhere in Scottsdale/Rio Verde. Greens are some of the smoothest and most consistent I have experienced this winter in Phoenix, too. Kudos to the team at Verde River - great experience overall - I highly recommend this facility.

Wow - totally blown away by the remodel to Mountain Shadows! They did an outstanding job recreating the holes, while adding a bunch more character and style. It was in excellent shape, and the staff there was very friendly and excited about the future the property holds. Be sure to check out the hotel there, too, as it matches the beauty of the course - simply stunning. Great courses to play if you're sneaking out of work early, are with the family, or are just looking for a fun and challenging round that you can play in 2.5 hours. This is going to be a regular stop for my group! Great job and congrats to everyone involved in the remake of this club - you did an excellent job! Perfect blend of retro and modern in a golf course.

This is an absolutely beautiful layout near the red rocks of Sedona. The grounds are meticulously maintained, and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. They really go out of their way to give you a "home course" feel even if it is your first time playing. We were paired up with a PGA professional, and even he, as someone who has played all the top courses throughout the country, was commenting on how awesome this place was. Simply put, Oakcreek Country Club should be on everyone's "must play" list when they come to Arizona.

Had the opportunity to play this facility during the week of the LPGA Founders Cup. The grounds were in perfect condition tee to green. The staff was friendly, helpful, and had great attitudes. And, the food after the round was fantastic. Our entire group commented afterwards that this was one of the best experiences we have had on the course in a long time.

Played at 8am on a Saturday in under four hours! The course was in fantastic shape, and the staff was very friendly. This is one of the few places in town where the marshals really are helpful, have a positive attitude, and do their best to make sure your day on the course is a fun one. The greens were smooth and quick, and the water hazards made sure you were paying attention off the tee box. I look forward to coming back soon!

We played early on Black Friday, one of the busiest days of the year, and had a fantastic round. 3 of the 4 players in the group never had played the facility before, and found it a very fair test - and a place you can play well during your first time out since it is not tricked up like many courses in AZ. The greens were rolling great, and the entire staff was very friendly...especially the starter who spent extra time explaining the course layout to us. Had some wings in the restaurant after the round that were fantastic, too. This was a very fun day altogether, and it will be in our regular rotation moving forward.

There might not be a course in Arizona that has better turf coverage than this. The greens were rolling consistently and smooth, even though we played late in the day on a holiday weekend. Beverage Cart attendant was friendly constantly coming around. Great place to play in the summer in AZ not only due to the conditions, but the shade that can be found on every hole. Look forward to my next round there!
