Owner has eliminated most of the staff, expecting the few folks left to handle everything. No divot mix, dirty carts and then the course is just not worth the tee fees. Greens are terrible, but at least they have recently mowed some of the over grown grass. There are much better deals out there, and it's too bad that Cottonwood doesn't want to be competitive, just a matter of time before they shut down.

The course is in pretty good shape considering the water situation. The GPS in the cart is a nice add. There appeared to be sort of game warden at one of the small ponds, forcing the ducks out of the water which where then chased down by a dog which retrieved them and either killed them or grabed them and returned them to the handler. Don't know what happened after that.

If everyone fixed their ball marks and divots it could receive a higher overall rating
