Golf Club At South Hampton
Played On 08/23/2017A Good Day Out
Play from the Blue Tees is just at 6,000 yes which is enough challenge for a mid handicapper like me. Greens were bumpy having been aerated 2 weeks ago but, rest of course was in really good shape. Enjoyed the round and will return.
Indian Valley Golf Course
Played On 05/23/2017Well Worth A Visit
I played the course for the first time and was very pleased - great conditions from tees to greens. I played from the standard (gold) tee markers which was enough of a challenge because of doglegs, sloping fairway & lots of greenside bunkers. This course will offer a fair test of your game. Staff was very friendly & helpful. Course also has good visual distance markers. Give the course a shot and don't be surprised if it WINS.
Ocean Resorts Golf Club
Played On 05/17/2017Well Worth A Visit
The word "resorts" in their title can be a bit of a stretch but, a visit to this course will be well worth your time & money. The overall course conditions were acceptable & good but not to the level of a resort course. This was my first time playing the course. I played on a Wednesday in the afternoon. The pro shop joined me with a player who knew the course, so this was a help getting some local knowledge. If you get off the fairway you may face some uneven lies and obstacles but, in the fairway you'll have level lies. I thought the course had good distance markers - on the tee boxes, 150 yd PVC poles and colored concrete fairway blocks. Playing from the white tees I scored an 81. All in all a good golfing experience.
