I drove out expecting a nice course but it came up short. The course has a cool traditional layout and the greens were actually in good shape. The biggest problems were the lack of grass in areas where grass should exist and the driving range is pretty awful, not worth $5 for a small. I think I have played my first and last round here. Conditions are just too poor.

Since moving to Arizona in May I've had the chance to play 5 different courses and this has been the best conditioned one. The fairways,greens, and tee boxes were in great shape for this time of year. I am a big fan of traditional layouts and really enjoyed this one. Playing from the back tees all of the par 5's were reachable in 2 and the par 4's are a good mix of short and long. I will be back to play again.

First off I have to say this course has a great layout and is a very attractive setting. The bad is the conditions are pretty poor. The greens and fairways were pretty poor considering everything else this course has to offer. To me this is a course where it used to be a high end club but new ownership came in and only cares about the bottom line. For as much play as this course was getting I would think you could up your maintenance budget a little. The main reason I played here is I was considering their "membership" program but I think I may stick with joining a Troon Club.

I made the trek out to Buckeye to play this course for the first time. The course has a really fun desert layout and was surprisingly in good shape for the summer. The sourndings around the course make a very pretty setting. I enjoyed the layout and fairness of the course as a whole. I got paired up with a great group of guys and will be back for sure.
