Played here several times, and Candler remains in great shape. It is a very forgiving course, with no water and "rough" that is very playable. The difficulty comes with length, not course conditions or "tricks". Would like to make this my home course, but not close enough to home, but close enough to play there several times per year.

Played from the blue tees, 6100 yds, and slope 128 but certainly was harder than that. They give a yardage card which is helpful, but what was very helpful for this first time player was playing with a local. Many blind drives.
Course in immaculate shape. True mountain course with hard to read greens, Would love to play it again., and again play with a local. #18 is a great finishing hole!

Played as a solo and matched up with another solo...great day and fun time with Roger. The course was in great condition and has a nice mixture of distances so that you are likely to use all of your clubs. Greens undulated, but very fair. Wanted to turn around and play another 9!

4th time playing the course and, as always, in great shape. Greens are fast and true. Fairways beautiful. Has great layout with a few “target golf” holes, a few doglegs, a few forced carries and a few “grip and rip”. Staff very professional. Wish we would have had the drink cart one more time (had it once on front and once on back).

Great course, conditions, layout. Challenging holes mixed with easier. Pace “slowish”, but not horrible.

Course was in excellent shape, both fairways and greens, and unfortunately, bunkers. Great layout. Will play again for sure.

Course seems to be in reasonably good shape, especially greens and t-boxes. The area around the greens was quite tight, making chipping difficult. This seems different from when Disney ran the courses. Pace was very slow.

Received a good deal through GolfNow and played this course. Condition was OK as the greens were just coming in from the winter. It is just not that exciting of a layout.

Played a few weeks after over seeding and the course is really good from t-box to greens. My foursome loves this place.

Greens punched 12 days ago and were almost fully recovered. Fairways great despite an over abundance of rain recently. I love the course layout and staff. My only complaint is that they have a set of "blended" tees (1/2 holes on 3rd set of tees and 1/2 on 4th) on the scorecard which play at the 6000 yards that I like to play but the slope and ratings are not listed on card or in GHIN. So posting score is not exactly correct. However, I can handle it and will keep coming back, especially in the fall after this last course maintanence.

I loved it. Would have been 5 stars across but we played shortly after greens were dusted, which slowed them down a touch. But, amazingly, they still putted true.

Grande Pines is a great course. It is difficult but fair. Greens were fast, fairways in great shape.
