The Bayonet at Bayonet/Black Horse Golf Course
Played On 04/20/2017Constructive advice
You might want to check the average age of your golfers and average skill level. For the Bayonet course, it would be good to have a green tee for those golfers who are in their 60's & 70's. We do not hit the ball as far as we did when we were younger. A yardage of around 7,500 would be much more pleasurable to play for us old guys, especially since most of the shots have to be hit over bunkers with long irons or utility clubs to hard greens. I prefer Blackhorse because it is a shorter course.
Black Horse at Bayonet/Black Horse Golf Course
Played On 09/04/2014The course is unique to the area
Me and my friends like to play both Bayonet & Blackhorse about once every two months. We are seniors and the course plays a little tough for us due to the difficult greens. As long as the pins are not placed on the greens in impossible locations, we enjoy playing the courses very much. I would say even though the courses rating is the same as some other courses in the area, both play about 4 strokes harder.
