Swiss Fairways Golf Course
Played On 03/15/2020Minnesota couple hits the links
Greens were in good shape for this time of year. Very busy on this Sunday afternoon but pace of play was fine considering. Lady in pro shop did a good job but not overly friendly. We played in the afternoon and the trash (cans and bottles mostly) were over flowing on the back 9. Know they may say it was the end of the day and they would be picked up when course closes or tomorrow morning. But for us it made a negative memory. Overall the course was in decent condition for this time of year.

Played On 03/29/2017Love the planes
As long as airplane or helicopter noise does not bother you, you will like this course. We loved the airplanes and helicopter taking off and landing. The course layout is fine but had some trouble knowing where to go next. Greens were in better shape than most courses we have played in the area in the last 5 weeks. Couple more restroom options would be nice. We saw an array of planes from military jets, corporate jets to small private prop planes taking off and landing. We even saw someone taking flying helicopter lessons. We found all of this as an added bonus to the golf. Could the course be in better condition, sure but the same can be said for any course in the area including the Omni Champions Gate courses.

Played On 03/27/2017Tough shape
The greens got worse as we went along. Tee boxes in fair shape at best. Fairways very hard with no to little rain. The positive was we were paired with a nice couple from Missouri which made the round enjoyable. Pace of play was good. Rain will help much.
Thank you very much for your comments. I am glad that you had a positive experience even though the drought has caused our conditions. We have invested heavily in fertilizer and herbicide that will greatly improve the course once we start getting some consistent rainfall. Thanks again and see you soon!

Played On 03/23/2017Nice layout needs TLC
Course is payed out fine but in poor condition. Love watching the water skiers practice and get a kick out of signs that tell us to let the boat pass before teeing off. Greens were fair to poor. Hard to find grass to hit your ball off of in fairways. Maybe a good course to play in the fall?
Schalamar Creek Golf Club
Played On 03/15/2017Good for the price
Good course to play for the price. Pace of play was fine but we did wait some on each hole. Weather was just beautiful, 60 and sunny which to many would be cold but if you are from Minnesota - well you understand. Greens were fine
Appreciate you coming out on a "Cool Florida Day". Looking forward to having you back out soon before you head back up to Minnesota.

Played On 03/06/2017Poor, poor condition
This course needs lots of work and $$. Great possibilities. Greens and tee boxes in poor shape. Fairways show no sign of watering. Not worth the money we paid. Only positive was that my wife and I could play alone. Staff was friendly.

Played On 03/01/2017Much better
Played this course 4 years ago before new ownership. Much, much improved. Greens were in excellent shape, tee boxes were in poor condition. All in all much improved. Saw many Ranger cards during our round which was great. Looked like Rangers and Management on Ranger carts. Staff very accommodating. Great improvements. We got paired up with two friendly guys. Thanks staff.

Willowbrook Golf Course
Played On 04/14/2015Would not recommend
Course was in poor shape. Tee boxes were very poor. Greens were spotty poor. Water containers were empty all but one and it was warm and humid. Concessions way over priced, 2 candy bars and bag of chips $8.00. Lady that checked us in was very nice and informative, lady behind the counter for food was new but nice. Got a rate of $21 on golfnow.com but couse was not worth half that.
Thank you for your feedback regarding your experience. It is through feedback like yours that we are able to determine how to improve. In regards to course conditions we do have an agronomic plan in place to improve the golf course’s condition and playability. This winter we installed a new irrigation pump system to help us improve our irrigation capabilities. With a new pump we will be able to do a tee box renovation that is scheduled for this spring and some renovations to the greens next spring. We aim to provide a positive and fun golf experience to all of our guests and I apologize that we did not meet your expectations.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We are sorry to see that your overall experience was anything short of 5 stars, but we hope you'll give Swiss Fairways Golf Course another try in the near future.
