As always the course did not let us down. Fairways are in great condition. The greens were smooth and ran true.. this course is fair but challenging.. shots to the greens are the most difficult shots you have in your round.. to get there and hold the green takes good distance control..

The greens were awesome...they rolled well...but there seemed to have been an issue with the fairways .. especially the 7th par four!! Usually a great local course....hope they can fix the problems on the fairways.....so bumpy. At this moment I would.t recommend the course to anyone, which h is sad. The fairway toilets were clean as they used to be a problem.

as always this course seems to bit back at you. does not look to difficult but it gets you by the end of the round. Greens were super fast even in the rain, hard to hold unless you came in really high, short game is a must have around here. But rolled perfectly.. We will be back for sure..

There is a great improvement in this course, I believe they have a new course superintendent .. And it is showing with the changes. The fairways are awesome easily defined from the rough not like before. greens are awesome as ever, super fast on the day we played.. New sand going in on bunkers. What a difference they are making.. Anyone who played this course before and decided not to come back due to the poor condition.. You must come back now!!

This course was simply awesome, once off the first tee you only see the hole that you are playing. I thing only on one hole could we even see houses. Fairways were wide and in great condition, greens rolled very true. The clubhouse and pro shop were friendly, the patio was a great place to sit after the round.. ALL round a first class day out.

this was terrible experience, we started off with a 20 minute delay, then it was so backed up that at one point around the ninth there was a four ball on the green, a four ball in the fairway, a four ball on the tee and two four balls queued waiting. Disgraceful !!!!! and not a Marshall to be seen !! worst round ever we will never be back or recommended this course to anyone.. Five and a half hours for a four ball unbelievable.. Fairway are in rough condition, the TEE boxes where in worse condition. The greens were still in good shape..

We have played this course many times, we have never seen a Marshall on the course to help the pace of play.. We had a four ball two groups in front of us that would not allow the group behind them to play through.. \even though they had fallen behind the group in front by having a full hole clear in front of them.. They were in a par four green still putting when the group in front had made it to the putting green on the par five..

This course is one hundred years old this year and it is still one of the very best courses in Florida.

have not been here for over six months but still found the course in great condition. Always a challenge but also always a fun course to play.. If you are in the area you have to try it.

this was a great course. but it has went down hill slightly.. There is excess water on several fairways. Number 7 fairway is no carts due to the huge amount of water running the full length of the fairway on both sides. And the very soft fairway on certain places when you stood water would come up around your shoes. Won.t be back until all the water is gone, the said it was from the hurricane but that is a long time to not be able to drain off a course..

This course is very sadly in decline. I once told all my friends to come play it ,now I would not wish to meet my friends here. The tee boxes have more weeds than grass. The fairways are in poor state of repair, the areas off the fairways is really in dire need of some TLC.. As for the bunkers they are in terrible condition I have photos to proof it but can not find how to upload the photos to show.. They are over run with grass and machinery tracks the worst grading job I have ever seen.. So Sad

Eagle Dunes has seen better days...rough was thick but not in good condition either...inconsistent. The bunkers....were not bunkers...they were falling in and many were covered in grass and weeds. Just not the same golf course we played in April sadly.

Sanctuary Ridge was a lovely course to play, some of the fairways are REALLY bumpy when you drive over them.....and we got snagged up with a slow four ball, but that can happen anywhere I suppose...didn.t see a Marshall about tho. Would play it again.

Since reading the review from a month ago (30/10/16) from another player and his party who played Eagle Dunes......we also found the condition of the porta potties in the VERY SAME condition.....FILTHY!! Nothing seemed to have been done to clean them up.....we have complained probably four or five times this year to the clubhouse already. We have played there many times and have NEVER seen them clean. We.ve seen cleaner ones on a building site. Come on Eagle Dunes, take action this time before you loose any more players. Your course is very pleasant but your players deserve better on course facilities.

We play this course regularly....but especially this past winter we have noticed it going down hill......the course is getting scruffy looking....the fairways and different areas are scattered with, almost building looking sand...near the greens also. There didn.t seem to be seed mixed in with it, but maybe is?? Some of the waste bunkers seem to be just getting allowed to go to seed. The portable toilets on the 4th and 15th are filthy....the women in various four balls i.ve played in wouldn.t even use them. We have told the clubhouse re this on quite a few occasions. The practice range is in need of some new flags and poles.....there is no markers for practice distance that are not either a bare pole, or the flags are that faded you cant see them!! Really looks rough.... seems to be quite a few people using it too. I realize this all takes money but the course always seems to look busy enough??
I must say the greens always roll very nicely.....but the rest of the course and clubhouse is needing some TLC.

it is no surprise to me that golf courses all over are suffering. Every show on TV is telling us that the pace has to be picked up.. NO one and I do mean NO ONE wants a 5 hour round of golf. We just do not have the time for this but this course does not seem to care about the pace, no Marshall or course ranger. we have played this course for many years now and never have we seen anyone on the course to keep the pace moving. Very few times have we even seen a starter.. The greens this year are the worst condition we have ever seen them. So sad to see another great course going this way.

I really wish they would not allow as many five balls on this course...it can cause so many back ups thus slow play on many occasions....altho a decent course to play...this can waste your game....shame!!??

This course was in perfect condition, it is a very challenging course. The greens are very quick and very undulating, If you do not know this course you will struggle to score well. Course knowledge of pin locations is vital. You must stay below the pin every time . Or just staying on the green will be a challenge. But the one thing that brings its score down is PACE of PLAY it took us just over 5 hours , waiting on every Tee box. 4 balls every where the only 2 ball we could see was in front of us and they quit around the 11 hole due to time waiting I think..

This course is generous off the tees, and a very forgiving layout. Good for most players. The lower handicap player would not find this enough of a challenge. Every green can be played with a bump and run type shot from the fairway. You would only need to play the ball into the air, if you got off the fairways. But still overall it provides a good day out.

This course has good landing areas from most tee boxes. But water is in play on nearly every hole, mostly running the length of the fairways, one side or both sides. Also there are many fairways that the water cuts directly across. Greens where very good, Large and undulating. Bunkers where in great shape. Some courses just do not appeal to everyone this was one of them for me.
