The Resort Golf Club
Played On 04/18/2021Good, tough course but fun.
It’s a fun course but can be very tough off the tee with narrow fairways lined with trees. Play with some course management hitting irons off some tees for positioning but also some open tee shots. Fairways were in decent shape but a lot of areas that were dirt/grass and greens are hard so are rolling fast. Can’t get much check on the balls coming in so aim to land front side and let it roll.

This course has a great, fun, challenging layout that tests you.
Definitely need to use an app to know where the hazards are to lay up.
The ONLY downfall are the greens. They are in terrible shape after the freeze. You can’t putt or hit wedges into the greens they just roll on dead grass.

Cleburne Golf Links
Played On 04/27/2017It is a somewhat challenging course with the amount of wind coming off the lake and in general. The greens are in bad shape from the winter so they are starting to fix them. Would play this course again once the greens are fixed and it greens up a bit.
Hawk's Creek Golf Club
Played On 04/15/2017Pretty nice course! Couple tricky holes for ball placement but overall great course. Need to work on the bunkers a little and some of the greens. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a fun but fair course.
