All good, greens & fairways in great shape- we will play this course again!

All good, greens & tees were green, fairways had brown grass but typical conditions for a Florida this time of the year. No pressure from overbooked clients pushing your group- very enjoyable round with my buddies!

It was 94 degrees on Sept 22 & this is Michigan. Drank a lot of water to stay hydrated. Best part is that nobody was on the course- whimps! Greens & fairways in great shape, really enjoyed the day with a past student. Even tho I'm going on 75 he won't let me use the Senior tees. I think that's because he is going on 65. Neither of us shot our age, maybe next time!

Great layout & obviously once a premier golf course. Owners have obviously decided to have a philosophy of only putting out enough resources to keep the course playable. The finess manicure days are in the past, & the once acclaimed glory of this place is now in the past tense. Greens & fairways are maintained but at a low level of expertise, fertilizer & updating with new concrete & asphalt would do wonders to inhance the eye appeal. However, the price I paid to play was fair & my expectations were low & thus I have no complaints, & we really had an enjoyable round even tho the weather forecasters were really off in their predictions- misty rain joined us for the majority of play when sunshine was to be the plan of the day!

Play was somewhat slow the back nine. 4 elder golfers were not keeping pace & they never replaced flag properly. The course was in as good of shape as I've seen it over the past 5 years. Facilities were clean. The entry gate was a problem as when we called pro shop no one answered the phone to open gate- and we were told to leave a message, like that won't open the gate folks. Finally a resident punched his own code in to let us & the 4 backed up cars in!

Greens were much to my liking, they were green '& had grass on them, actually in excellent condition! Fairways typical of FL unless you pay $100 bucks per round. This time at Mt Dora was more enjoyable than my round last year on Feb. 10th. I inadvertently bumped my wife with the golf cart & broke her hip on the 12th tee. Path. The staff was gracious enough to issue us a replay of 18 holes with a cart. I give Mt. Dora "thumbs up"!

The course is obviously well aged, 60's. However updating & repairs to buildings & course are evident. The greens were to my liking & in decent condition. Most fairways were decently watered but the outer fringes were sandy & devoid of grass, thus staying centered on route to the green was imperative. The ranger was aware of a 5 some ahead of us, which he monitored almost continuously - they were doing a scramble of some sort!

Palisades is a fun & interesting course- a variety of challenges await the player as one proceeds around the course. Absence of restroom facilities would be a fine addition for management to consider in the future. Greens had a few issues but not overwhelming or a major distraction- something to blame other than self for missed putts! Will definitely re-visit this course!

Staff was beyond nice & spent time giving us the lowdown! An over abundance of rain hit the course the night before- so we were required to stay on the cart paths & rightfully so! This attributed to the lengthy time to play 18 holes, but it was not a factor as to our enjoyment of the course. Wildlife was abundant including a few size able Gators. We will definitely revisit USF.

This executive course is a little bit longer than most! Staff was very friendly & course was groomed well.

This is unequivocally the best executive course I've ever played. Greens, fairways, & nice carts were but a few of the great features. Each hole had a unique Challange with enough water to excite those who aim for those features. I have not one disappointment to report.

It was a perfect day for golf! The course was well groomed other that a surplus of pine cones. & needles on the sides of the fairways. The greens were in prime shape & fast. Collins in the pro shop was very congenial & super good in assisting us for play. This time of the year the sun was low & at times it was difficult to find your ball even in the fairway when a few leaves were present! I definitely would play this course again as it was interesting. & challenging. Number 17, obviously the signature hole, didn't disappoint me .

Very enjoyable course, fairways & greens were in excellent shape. Grounds keepers were polite & friendly. The cart guy (Nathan) was especially wonderful! The day was ideal weather wise. We saw multiple rainbows & I especially liked the elevation changes- not a boring flat course. Continental could use a few less geese- there everywhere & when their not they leave evidence of their past presence!

Interesting course with fun greens. As easy as some holes look, each has a challenge - the risk & reward is cleverly built in. Take note: if you have rabbitfobia do not play this course- there everywhere & are in groups is 2 to 2 dozen!

Great "Little" course & maintained very well. Workers were very polite & withdrew when you were playing near where they were working. Biggest problem, but not a problem were pine ones & how can one pick them all up as fast as they drop!

Course played fair, fairways & greens were in good shape. Challenging holes were 11 thru 13, the narrow & cat tailed fairways were fun but disastrous for my overall score, which ended up being 80.

Played a foursome- slow going but a super nice day, so who cares! 10th hole jam up, lunch people merging back into play caused a big backup!

This place is a Jewel, everything was perfect- I actually played 6 strokes better than usual, I would attribute that to fast & well maintained greens!

The course was in the best condition I've ever seen it. Many improvements are evident & the greens were fast & in excellent condition.

Course is as good as I've ever seen it! Well maintained. Trees trimmed & weed whacked. No branches or leaves from winter laying around the course.
