Cave Creek Golf Course
Played On 03/01/2017Excellent course, but slow play.
Played day after a big rain. Course in good condition considering. Greens were fast and well manicured. Fairways in good shape. Very busy, so play was slow. I only finished 16 holes with a 2:18 tee time.
Starfire Golf Club - The King Course

Rye grass has filled in nicely. Overall in great shape, even the greens were nice. Didn't wait on any hole! Hot deal was a super price.
Dove Valley Ranch Golf Club

Tough course. It was in great shape even after a drenching rain the day before. Greens were super fast.
Villa de Paz Golf Course

Good value for the $. Fun course design, but was in bad shape. Too bad the course is closing in a few months. They are not taking care of it because of that.
Crowne Plaza San Marcos Golf Resort
Played On 11/4/2013The overseed has a way to go. There were a lot of bare spots on the fairways.
The greens were horrible. Needed to be rolled and trimmed. They were, however, nicely filled in with only a few bare spots. The fairways were still growing in from the overseeding and have a way to go before looking nice and giving a nice surface to hit from. The tee boxes also needed some TLC. Nice course layout with lots of trees.
