Booked round for $47 and was charged $52 at the course. Not sure why, because I asked but they were too distracted and I didn't get an answer. Even $47 is high considering its bar and other amenities aren't open yet. For the extra $5, turn the fairway water on. Getting dry.

No overbooking. Didn't have a group behind us or in front of us. Able to play at a decent pace. Jason was manning the controls in the pro shop, as professionally as he does! Starter was a little grumpy but he did his job. We all had fun, course in great shape, etc.

Too many slow twosomes. Greens in great shape though.

Uncrowded day. Greens were good. Fairways watered, and the smart carts are pretty awesome! I recommend this course highly.

Mosquitoes are thriving on most of the course. Anything besides soaking myself with Off would be great. Not sure courses have abatement programs though. Otherwise, I'll play closer to the Wasatch range. Great to play Glen Eagle mid-day

Greens in good shape. Fairways well watered. Hot day but less humidity. Keep up the good work!

Most of the course becomes a wind tunnel when there's a southerly wind. Greens and fairways in good shape!

Staff was good. Larry the Starter is always awesome! Fairways and greens were in great shape. Keep up the good work!

Fairways and greens just great for Winter! No waiting and it was a Saturday.

Great day, great course conditions and friendly staff. Might want to make use of a Marshal on busy days. Very backed up on the back 9. Decided to leave early.

I repeat it like a mantra. Don't just keep the greens green! Just not easy when seeing your ball roll off the side of the fairway due to dryness. A lot!! Love the track, staff and clubhouse though. Merry Christmas!

Looks like recovery with the greens but fairways are coming along! The announced repairs of pathways are coming along, much to the detriment of the poor carts. Good game and good track. Maybe trim the leaning branches and at least one dead pine tree at the challenging 10, 11 and hole 12 corridors though. Looking forward to the finished product at Castle!

Lots of brown fairways so a ball can roll on and on, but c'mon guys! You have well water and it was a wet winter. Can't be that expensive to run more sprinklers. I see many sprinklers in good shape but sitting on dry brush or plain dirt. No bueno. Most of the summer was this way too. Don't let a great track get shabby! Still considering a membership but I don't know. Everything around the clubhouse looks great. But figure it's more for wedding pics? A favorite course but Twin Oaks and Arrowood stay very green! Even Oceanside Muni is greener. Take care.

Pace was good. Hardly a crowd around at that time. Greens are coming back more.

A lot of the greens had more divots than usual, but are being repaired. Likely from overuse, but still got a few pars out of the 12 holes I played..

Greens are great and the rest is manicured nicely. Some spots are muddy from leaky sprinklers. Although, I see the 1st tee box had some water repair. A little mud is fine, just bought new white shoes though :-).

Some parts of the fairways are a bit muddy. Also, usually oversold on times. One example, is the cart didn't have enough juice. Played 12 holes and barely got back to the clubhouse! Beautiful day and the greens were good enough.

Half an hour early and waited in the snack bar. The guy behind the counter was none too happy as we ordered. I can see why his tip jar was about empty. Made our way out to the starter but said it would be awhile, and the pro shop wasn't giving us range balls to make up for their lateness and the stack of foursomes they put out to cause the delays. We finally teed up but we had to go around the stack of foursomes and skipped 3 holes. But the fairways are great, some bunkers had standing water and the greens were getting a little smashed from the Saturday-hacker type players crowding the course. The weather was warm and wonderful! Likely I'll go back to The Golf Club of California as it's not nearly as packed.

The biggest highlight was that Richard Nixon played this course. Very backed up at our starting time. 3 hours for 10 holes and we just had to quit. Overflowing water under the tunnel to the back nine. Otherwise, I doubt I'll be back.

Some of the new plantings are fading and the 6th tee box is weeds, but greens are good. Good play for the short game.
