Pinnacle Golf Club
Played On 05/26/2023Greens are still a mess
Greens continue to struggle. We were told that they are replacing all the greens in June. I believe they have dropped their price to play. They should not be charging any mpore than $25 to play for what you get. Fairways are as hard as a rock and thin.
Pinnacle Golf Club
Played On 03/25/2023Not worth the money today
The greens are in horrendous shape, we had to do automatic 2 puts on some of them. They were also extremely dry and mostly sand. They are charging way too much money not to have better conditions. I understand its spring, but my home course is an hour away and the greens are excellent, albeit dormant and starting to grow. Wait until summer.
Cedar Creek Country Club
Played On 08/02/2020Course in good condition
Greens were in great condition. Fairways starting to dry out.
Briar Ridge Golf & Country Club
Played On 05/11/2019Frisco Lakes Golf Club
Played On 04/22/2019Course is decent
Greens are in poor shape. Bunkers are poor, had not been raked. Fairways are decent but bumping still needed. Grass has not fully grown in yet. Still spring golf.
I booked on GolfNow app. I wish the app would State better course conditions. Greens are sanded etc.
Frisco Lakes Golf Club
Played On 06/24/2015One of the best in North Texas
Course is in the best shape of many North Texas Courses. Greens are perfect. Fairways are soft and play well.
The Bridges Golf Club
Played On 06/12/2015Great Course, lots of sand
Played from the gold tee. Plays Long. Rough is very high grass. Fairways are in great shape. You must stay in the fairway to achieve a good score. Greens were in excellent shape.
Texas Star Golf Course
Played On 06/11/2015Greens are sanded 6-12-15
It would be nice to be notified by the course or Golf Now that something is under repair. Generally you have to call them before you book.
As stated, greens have extreme sand on them. If the wind blows 15mph or more from the south, you can expect a big stink from the nearby landfill. front nine stunk like diapers. Bad.
Course conditions are good with many courses finally getting a second mow since the rains.
Heritage Ranch Golf and Country Club
Played On 06/09/2015Good Course, tricky holes. Play with someone that knows the course.
Course is still repairing damage from the floods. Only one hole was shorten to a par 3. A little dusty on the paths from flooding. Greens are starting to dry out. Fairways have been mowed a couple of times so no clumps of grass.
Hidden Trails Country Club
Played On 09/17/2014Poor conditions for a "Country Club"
This course is not worth the $50 they try to get. I paid $40 to play and that was $39 too much.
I was the first off. They started punching the greens in the morning. Played the first 3 holes with mounds of sand. Couldn't find the hole, no pins. I finally got to play regular greens by hole 3, however, there were no pins. I told a course worker about it and by hole 7 they started putting pins in the holes. fairways had not been mowed and rough was deep. Skip this course.
La Cantera Resort - The Palmer Course
Played On 08/06/2014You will need to play this course twice
I played this course twice over two days and it helped my score the second day knowing where to hit my shots. Many holes require a placement tee shot to line up your second shot.
Bring lots of balls. Anything off line is lost.
