This facility is a pleasant course and clubhouse with nothing spectacular and nothing wrong ! Conditions were good and the layout was fine. You will enjoy a comfortable round of golf in a nice town within easy reach of major attractions in Ottawa and Kingston. A very wet Spring has left a few soggy areas but overall no awkward swamps or puddles so drainage must be working OK.

This course seems to improve every year -- the conditions are excellent. Had a little problem with the holes seeming to be raised at the lip(s), perhaps due to excessive foot traffic in close proximity over extended time period..? (eg. during aeration recovery ?) Regardless, the course is more interesting than it looks from the highway -- too bad the four visible holes (1, 9, 10, 18) look rather plain because there is so much more interest further back.

Enjoyed the course for the economical pricing and the friendly staff... was happy not to be restricted to cart paths as was the case at so many others. Problem: the scorecard and the signs at the tee boxes give conflicting info w.r.t. yardage which is very frustrating on short holes for first-time visitors. The last hole is awkward and a bit goofy as it zig-zags back towards the clubhouse. Conditions were good... I expect it is always windy there (links style course with lots of open terrain).

Beautiful weather, beautiful course -- where are the golfers ?! Not that far north of highway 401, this course seems to be a bit of an unknown. It is in great shape, has interesting views / topography, plenty of challenge if desired, but playable for recreational golfers too. And the patio at the nineteenth hole has good viewing of the 9th and 18th greens as well as some nearby fairways -- very pleasant way to dissect the day's adventures !

Other than the young gal at the Pro Shop check-in (who seemed perplexed by the Golf Now coupon and consequently players got backed up) everything else was fine. Course in good condition (as most courses should be this damp summer). Easy to walk (pretty flat) and a bonus is the plane-spotting from being beside the airport.We just wanted a bit of exercise and a quick game, so location offered that much. Not much interest for a serious round of golf, and no scenery whatsoever. Lacks shade.

Played four other courses this week and this one had the best conditions. Rather flat but typical for coastal terrain. Pleasant surroundings and staff, paired up with a friendly couple. Very good price on Golf Now website.
