T.P.C. Las Vegas is a fine example of a very tough target golf course.If you can manage your game well enough (and play the correct tees) and plot your way round,it can yield low scored,but due to the canyons,rocks and unforgiving areas off the fairways you can run up some big numbers if your game is "off" by a fraction.

This course is a great way to start a holiday,as it offers a gentle test compared with many of the other courses in and around Las Vegas.Also soak in the views from the elevated holes of Vegas and the Strip.

West Mid is a delightful test of golf.Although not long,it demands careful placement off the tee, and accurate shots into the greens.The tone of the course is set when you get to the 2nd tee,a tough par-3 that is visually intimidating,requiring the player to hit a high long iron to a wickedly sloping green.In fact all the par-3s on this course are tough.The stand-out hole is no-9,a dog-leg left that has a blind fairway,that is wildly undulating,then a tough approach to a green guarded by trees and a deep bunker.All in all,its a cracking course,that is exceptional value when booked through GolfNow.

This is my 3rd time here,and yet again the pace of play was appalling..!!!After playing 9 holes in 3 hrs in March,I returned with a complementary greens fee for another round,This time it was 5-hrs 20-mins.We only saw a Marshall once.
The quality of the course and the superb weather did little to quell my frustrations about the pace of play..

The supposed lesser course at PGA West / La Quinta,this course never fails to surprise.A challenging layout where it is vital to stay on the fairway as the rough is a dropped shot at best,and a lost ball on many occasions.

Desert Dunes is always a challenge as the wind is a constant threat.If the driver isn,t working the vegetation surrounding the course is punishing.It is always in great condition,and the staff always friendly.Very good value for money.

The Legends course is laid through canyons and gullies and gives players a chance to score.A fair course if you play the correct tees,A beast if you dont.

A very good course that hardly gets a mention when golfers talk about the top courses in the Palm Springs area.The course gives you chances to score,but also make plenty of bogies,(especially the par-3s),.Enough water to add interest,deep bunkers to avoid,and plenty of undulation on the greens.A must play course when visiting the desert.

This course should be played at the beginning of a trip,to get the swing loose,as it is wide open off the tee,giving players a chance to score.

A favourite to visit while in Palm Springs,this course should be near the top of every golfers list for the area.Always in good condition,it has a good variety of holes,long and short..The pick being the 18,scenically very good,pleasing to the eye and challenging..water comes into play on the drive-lay-up and the approach to the green.Afitting end to an excellent course.

A great place to play if you want calm conditions..This course gives plenty of birdie opportunities with having 5 relatively short par-5s and is always in very good condition.
