I expected the course to be in superb shape with nice layout but it did not excel when compare to many other courses in Tampa area. I was disappointed with the condition of the greens of most holes, there are many other (cheaper) courses that have better greens! Fairways were in good condition. Many holes were wet but I did not mind walking all 18 holes with the cart path only rules.
Even though I know that I have to bring many $1 bills, I still do not like the way the system is set up. Total tips 6 times!
No coolers with ice cold water along the course! There were some water tanks but they did not look nice at all and the water was not cold. It may be a slow day when I played but there was not a cart selling drinks at all, or was it the resort policy?
Staff were nice though.
I will try out the Palmer course some time soon. Hope it is nicer than the Saddlebrook course!
