This course is located in ShipYard, so if you are staying in ShipYard it could not be more convenient. The course was in good condition and the staff was great. For the money, I did expect better though. The course was dried out and parts were turning brown. No ball washers. No club washer on the cart. No towel for the rental set. Just made for a messy round. Definitely put it on your list to play if you have your own set. If you are renting, it is first-come, first-served and you may want to bring a towel. Again, the staff was phenomenal and they make it worth going back to.

I have played them all and there is none better than Noble Hawk.

Another great Jack Nicklaus tracks. Well laid out. Plenty of water to keep you honest. There is no yardage book available and that would help. Too many times you get yourself in trouble because you don't see the whole hole from the tee box. Still a fair track and worth a visit. It's not the easiest course to find, so maybe go out the day before to find it. Houses are pushed back far enough from the course to stay out of your way. Greens were firm, but perfect. Plenty of tee boxes to choose from to fit your game. Definitely should be on your list to play on your next visit to HHI.

TPC of Myrtle Beach (not a true TPC, but licenses the name and lives up to the TPC standards) is a great course. Excellent layout with few outside distractions. Yardage markers everywhere. Staff was excellent (other than the starter who complained about our group of 16 hitting a breakfast ball) and friendly. It is pricey, but well worth it. Very fair track and rough is not penalizing.

MBN - King's North is a must play in MB. No houses nearby...just an interesting course. Would definitely play this again sometime.

University is a FIRST CLASS facility. This is my second time playing this course and it is a great track. Staff was very friendly. We played 19-27 & 1-9. 3.25 hours for 2 of us, going through two foursomes. Some tight shots, but there is usually a bail out area. Don't need driver on every hole. Greens were fantastic. Bunkers were in good shape. Wish I had a course like this at home to play. Must play if you get a chance.

This is a great track! The course does need water, but it is still a great course. Great layout with several tee options. The holes do have a lot of trouble to get in to, but they also have bail out locations. The course is very fair. Be aware of the blind approach on #3...the water is closer than you think. The bunkers need some work, but if you can get the Sunday $25 rate, it is well worth playing. Grill is a little pricey.

Sarasota National is one of the latest courses. It is in a WCI (I think) community and they always seem to have great courses. Sarasota National is an exceptional track. Very WIDE fairways. Smooth and true greens. Undulating greens, but rolled very smooth and true. Great pace of play. Really enjoyed the round.

I had never played Pilgrim's Run before but was invited by someone who had. What a great track! PR is very secluded. Very well maintained. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Need to revise their refill policy for soft drinks, but the food was great. I wish I lived closer so that I could play it again and again. If you are in the area, make time to get to Pilgrim's Run.

L.E. Kaufman describes itself as "one of the finest". It's a nice course but WAY overpriced and the staff is ridiculously rude. We had a group of 7, a foursome and a threesome. The course got upset because the foursome couldn't keep up with the threesome. Really? When we made the turn, they made the foursome skip #10. There was no warning. There was no encouragement to keep up. Just skip a hole. Nevermind the fact that the front 9 was still completed in less than 2:15. It is a municipal course on a Saturday morning...who would've thought it would be busy. Half dead trees and unkept areas to close to the green attributes to the pace of play. There has to be better values in the area for your money.

Good Course. Real nice track. Good consistent greens. Tee boxes need some help, but real good course. Must play for the area. At hole 9, make sure you use the intercom to order food at the turn. Nothing available if you walk up and staff was nasty about it.

Good course. Make sure you find a deal on the price. Course needs some additional yardage markers and some guidance on shot placement.

The River Club is a nice course. We were able to get a good rate through GolfNow. I don't know how happy I would've been for full rate. We had a local playing with us for part of the round which REALLY helps due to a number of holes needing position tee shots. Sand in bunkers need some work. Greens are slow but consistent. My biggest complaint is pace. We were being held up by other groups who would hit 2 or 3 balls per shot and spent a great deal of time fishing balls out. A Marshall came through but did nothing.
