Foothills Golf Club
Played On 04/23/2017A nice course!
While the conditions were not up to the $150 courses, you simply can not beat the value. While other people will complain about some bare spots (there were a few) they did not hinder my play at all. There were a few bare spots on the greens and fairways, but were very minor and did not interfere with play. Greens were a little slow, but overly so. They still putted good. Bunkers were good. Overall, you simply can not beat the value this course offeres! I thought for money I paid I was going to get a below average course. Not at all. It was above average and a great day playing golf. I will be coming back when I'm in the Phoenix area!

Played On 04/22/2017A great course!
Like I said a, great course. I was in Arizona for vacation. It was nice to get out of the rain back east. While it was hot, 96, my wife and I enjoyed the dry heat! I did enjoy the course. I like that it was right in front of you. Nothing hidden. The greens rolled true and the bunkers were perfect. The rough was sparse and really did not present any challenge (probably the time of year). It is a good walking course. Staff service was excellent. I gave the off course amenities a Fair rating because they are in a temporary trailer, but I'm sure it will be nice once the new clubhouse is built. Gave Value Average rating because the price seemed a bit steep and it seems they were sticking it to the visitor a little too much. My only real complaint is that all of the par 3s were long (180 yrds +, one was 220 yrds). I don't mind one or two 200 yrd par 3s, but three or four seems to be pushing it for amatour golf. Nevertheless, it is a great golf course!
Belk Park Golf Course
Played On 09/28/2014Simply Outstanding
Have lived in the area for near 10 years and have not played this course. Wow, have I been missing out! The course was simply in perfect condition. I found nothing wrong with the fairways, tee boxes or greens. Greens rolled almost to perfection. The course is wide open and it's all in front of you. Don't let the wide open conditions fool you. You still have to hit the shot. Any miscue will find either a hazard or trees to content with, but it's nice you probably will not lose your golf ball. Also, the rough is not impossible, but does make it a challenge to hit the green. The challenge will come to the better golfers due to it's length. I played the white tees and still had several holes that were long. Playing the back tee will give you a good challenge for the better players. It's also a great course for the beginners. Ample room to play with wide fairways. The ONLY criticism I have, and it's VERY minor, is that the greens were all round circles and fairly flat. While that may be boring to the eye, they were still a challenge to putt, breaks were very subtle and almost impossible to read. Bottom Line: Go Play This Course!!
Clinton Hill Country Club
Played On 07/19/2014Overall a very good course.
The course is in good shape. Greens were good, but a bit slow. The fairways were in good condition as well. All of the clover that was there my previous round was gone. They have taken care of the rough as well. It was not dead as is often the case this time of year. Bunkers were in good shape too. Course is not terribly hard, but nice round for the amateur. A bargain for the price! Go and play there!!
