Bruce Hills Golf Club
Played On 07/31/2014Stuck Behind a League
The course was in great shape, however, the pace of play would have made a snail look like the road runner. Our tee time was 5:12, and we were set to go off after the league. With the rain delay, we teed off at 5:30. The back 9 was wide open, and we asked to go off on that, and were told no. However, we witnessed others going off on the back.
Our 9 holes took us over 2 1/2 hours to play (should take less than 2 hours). The last two 4-somes in the league were unbelievably slow. It makes for an aggravating round. To put it in perspective, our 3-some golfed the back 9 in 1 hour and 10 minutes (although we didnt get to putt on 2 greens because the sprinklers came on)
How could the course have helped? Tell the league to keep pace of play. Leagues make money for the golf courses, but, word of mouth from players delayed from extremely poor pace of play loses money.
WestWynd Golf Course
Played On 07/23/2014"Up North feel"
We teed off at 11am and we were done by 2:15pm. Only waited on the 4-some ahead of once. The GPS on the cart was very helpful. The fairways were in good shape, however, some of the tee boxes could use some help though. Overall, for the price paid on GolfNow, it was an amazing deal ($32 bucks).

Played On 8/30/2013Great Pace of Play...
We finished in 3 hours.
The greens were very well kept and challenging.
The fairways need some work though.
Not a bad deal for $20.
Threetops Par-3 at Treetops Resort
Played On 7/14/2013Threetops was immaculate
I have always heard great things about Threetops, but to see it in person was breathtaking. Every hole was challenging, the change in elevation was unbelievable, and the views were pristine. It took us less than 1.5 hours to play.
Charleston National Golf Club
Played On 6/21/2013Nice track
Our tee time was at 5:04, got on at 445. Played the front 9 in 1:30. The back 9 was very slow. Not the fault of the course, however, if there was a ranger to help speed up the place, that might have helped.
Fairways were in great shape, as were the greens. Beautiful course for the money we paid.
Ran into alligators, deer, turtles, and all sorts of little "critters". It was an enjoyable experience.
Fern Hill Golf & Country Club
Played On 6/9/2013Improvements have been made
Pace of play is not always the fault of the course. It was slow, but, it was the people golfing, not the courses fault. The starter could have "helped" some of the people along quicker though. The course is in better shape than it has been in years.
Myth Golf & Banquet - Regulation Course
Played On 6/6/2013Excellent, challenging greens...
The actual course itself is in pretty good shape, and is challenging. The greens, for the most part were in excellent shape.
However, the wooden paths that are driven on have seen better days. They are in very bad shape, and in some area very dangerous to drive on.
