I always liked coming home from high up on the back nine. The views were great. But now that is the front nine and you come home on the flat desert nine. . . Not quite as nice. The back is more hum-drum and desert or houses on the sides.
However, still a very good course to play for the dollar value.
Staff is professional and helpful. The staff that gets you on your cart and ready to play are very friendly( maybe because some of them are wonderful Canadians)
Played this course twice on this visit. First day the men's section was playing, starting on the front with a shotgun start, and we never saw the cart girl for water or beer until the 16th hole on a very hot day. Not appreciated !
Course is a very good challenge, especially because many bunkers were rock hard !

Played On 03/07/2017Mature but tricky
Course is mature with many well aged trees down the fairways. Those fairways are in good shape. Greens are well protected with bunkers on both sides. Going long will always make it tough to get up and down. Fairways are close and often run parallel to each other, but still a lovely course to play with some doglegs. Greens were quick and didn't allow much bite or check for the iron shots no matter how close.
Very enjoyable course to play.
