Not an easy course if you are not swinging well but in general I really like it
Rio Pinar Golf
Played On 03/08/2014Over Booked Extremely Slow
New Owner/Management book 200 rounds a day no room for any good golfer to play a decent round of golf. Rio Pinar is a long and narrow golf course and the least skilled players pretend to be good enough to play from the tips backing up the rest of the players making a round of golf TORTURE.
The facility does not have enough carts to serve the 200 rounds daily so people have to wait for carts.
Not good management at all.
Once again my friends and I tried to play at this course and the it took forever to finish 9 holes.
The course is showing signs of poor maintenance, tee boxes are showing severe erosion, driving range has no grass, the fairways winter grass is so long is hard to get the ball in the air.
Several twosomes (worse players ever seen) playing as they are the only ones in the course. Rangers do not have the authority to demand faster play. Is sad to see an icon course become a cow pasture with unconsidered public destroying the course and nothing is done.
Rio Pinar Golf
Played On 02/01/2014Brutally Slow
Rio Pinar has become the most brutally slow course in the Orlando area. What a shame. I have never seen so many wannnabe golfers who have no idea what golf is and they are destroying a gem in Orlando.
Who wants to spend 5 hours in a course watching people trying to play horrible golf.
The new greens are showing signs of negligence by the poor players, ball marks unrepaired is the law of this place. Carts by the greens including par 3s, never seem before in any other courses.
Sorry but this place was much better before.
Thanks Gnp26 for your review and feedback. We appreciate you taking the and we hope to see you back again very soon for more of the best golf in the area!
