Entering a golf course which embraces the natural beauty of Virginia. The golf course holes were all separate from each other having their own identity. No houses on the course meant you could concentrate on the shot at hand. Course conditions were spectacular. The best and most interesting course I have played to date. Full pro shop, new gas carts and hallways are lined with original memorabilia from the golf course architect. Treat yourself and go play.

Playing golf at Kelley Greens is a wonderful experience. The conditions are a little rough around the edges but they are trying. The greens are in very good shape. The only things they are missing is a starter/ranger. Other than that go play you will have fun.

Everyone was nice to us. Course layout and conditions were great. Friends met us after for dinner and drinks. Wish the day never ended. Thank you South Shore staff.

My wife and I played and she loved it also. All staff were pleasant. Great atmosphere. Course on paper looks shortish. Don't let it fool you it's all you can handle. Book a T Time and go play you won't regret it. We didn't.

My wife and I played the course for the first time. The approach into the clubhouse club drop off was very nice. Clubhouse and Pro Shop are high on the hill. Putting green was very inviting indeed. All of the staff were friendly and welcoming. The gas golf carts were a must on this hilly course. We joined up with two (2) youngsters for three (3) holes on the front named Adam and Ryan and both were fun, welcoming and talkative. Then on the back nine we joined two (2) older gentlemen named Ed and Dave and they loved golf and made us feel right at home. All in all it was a very nice day of golf. If you get the chance put your head in the wind at Windham CC.

My wife and I played. She had played there before with the grandchildren. My round was the first at this course. I was impressed at the difficulty of the sight lines being very difficult from the back tees. If you made a par you earned it! The only sad part is that the bar/lounge opens at 5 pm and we were two hours short of that. Next time!

This course has the potential to be a top notch course. The front side is established and the back side has future homes coming. Golf carts are new. The course has length if you choose it. Greens for this time of the year have been vertica cut and top dressed but still put well. Fairways are lush and ball sits up nicely. Enjoyable course, go play.

Everyone working for Kiskiack was kind to my wife and I today, Justin especially. Golf course has a sense of order to it. Very difficult course due to elevations. Most shots were two clubs more. Greens were perfect. If you missed it was your fault. We do not live in this area nor most likely will not be back here again. Our loss!

Everyone we came in contact with at Piankatank was friendly indeed. We were welcomes with a friendly young lady Amber (?) behind the counter and after the round a retired Naval submarine worker even though was just off duty was kind enough to take pictures of us outside the entrance. Was even kind enough to move the water cooler to take a better shot of us.
The golf course was well maintained with a Jekyl and Hide personally. The front was hilly and the back was flat. The back side had 3 holes on the water which were memorable indeed. The fairways were lush and the ball shot up quite nicely. best fairways this year.
This golf course was a little bit of a ride but well worth the trip.
My only complaint is that the workers move from hole to hole going forward and stay with you for two tom three holes. My suggestion is that the workers who are pleasant and doing a great job start there jobs going in reverse holes and therefore the interruption and noise of the mowers are only affecting you by one hole.
With that being said it is good to see workers out there doing a fine job and respectful of golfers by stopping and allowing you to play by even shutting their mowers off. Thank you for that.

Each hole is separate from every other hole with the exception of one hole that has parallel fairways which are 13 and 16. We stood on the tee some time trying to figure out which way to hit. A sign possible on a tree with a number and an arrow would help. Anyway, enjoyed the course. with the exception of no sand/seed in golf carts to fill divots which there were many. Very difficult course to maintain pace of play for first timers or high handicappers. Greens are in good shape for the lack of rain. If you get a chance go play this course but bring some extra golf balls. They will come in handy.

From the Pro Shop to Starter to the Ranger all were very nice indeed. Golf course was amazing. Lot of hills and dales to be had on each hole. You got to golf your ball well to score out there. After the round there is a nice place to sit outside overlooking the 18th green,. Well played. If you haven't played it give it a try. You won't be disappointed.

This golf course won’t let you down. Each hole is individual from no adjacent fairways. Easy access to carts to get set up. The only thing missing is sand buckets fior the carts. Golf professional was very friendly which added to the overall experience. Thank you.

KBCC is definitely worth the play. Course conditions were in good shape. My wife and I enjoyed the day and Lord willing we will return. Thanks.

My wife and I played NSB golf course for the first time. We thought it was awesome. The people in the community are lucky to have a Donald Ross design in their area. The ball could be played as it lies and the greens were holding and very putt able. We will be back when in area. Thanks for a good golf day!

Always enjoyable to play Seven Springs CC. Course conditions are always good. Golf carts are perfect. The one thing in need is cart repair.

It is such a pleasure to play golf courses with no houses to be seen. Golf at it's finest. Go World Woods!

Upon arrival to the course the front circle near the fountain was surrounded by old restored art. Great entrance to a great golf course. All personal we meet were very friendly. All golfers we met were very friendly. That makes for a great round of golf. It's amazing in today's day that you can play a golf course with no homes on it. Pure golf. If you get the opportunity go play SHGC.

My wife and I played Breakfast Hill Golf Club for the first time today. We got paired with two members named Dan and Jim who were extremely pleasant and knowledgeable about their golf course. Every staff that we came in contact with were pleasant. The golf course was in wonderful condition throughout. We traveled from Marblehead to play this course and the trip was worth it. Every hole had its own unique personality. So if you get the time and you could get on go play it. You will not be disappointed.

My wife and I are from Florida and have played a half dozen different golf courses in the New England area over the past month. None have been better that South Shore Country Club. The course conditions were stellar with all the amenities intact. The course on paper from the back tees gave you all the fight you needed but was extremely fair at the same time. Every person we came in contact with was genuinely nice and had a smile. That feeling of welcoming which is important for a first time golfer to the course. The hills and dales were what really made this course stand out. The only thing that we wish is that this soon to be 100 year old golf course was in our back yard.
