Great track, conditions are above avg. It gets a good amount of play and they grounds crew does an excellent job keeping up. They are almost done with the clubhouse. Great design, pull a lot of different clubs off tee and have lots of different looks into the greens. Greens rolled well. Will def. be back.

7:51am tee time—went out solo, 1st guy out. Made the loop in 2:45 taking my time. Layout and Greens were great! Literally played every club in my bag from the tips. Nice mix of holes and looks. Greens rolled well. Only negative is the drainage. It had rained more than 48 hours before I teed off and the course was still holding water. Played lift clean and place in the fairway. Overall it’s a nice course and when dry could be very very nice. Good value, will play again on the right day dependent on when it last rained.

What a blast! Really nice course/layout. Course is set in a remote area tucked back away in a back-country setting. It's a very neat one-way type layout, First two holes are on the mainland, on 3 you have a demanding shot over the river, I had 188 pin (175 water carry) from the players tees, to an island where you start holes 4 and 5 - you then proceed onto holes 6-14 on the other side of the river, 15 & 16 on the island and then 17 & 18 back on the clubhouse side. Very scenic landscape, neat bridges and lots of blind shots. Course is in good condition - fairways are nicely kept - greens aren't fast but they are true, very nice for a public course, bunkers could use some attention but overall the course wasn't going to hurt your score. Most holes had a one-sided miss which made it fairly easy to navigate my 1st time playing. The staff was extremely nice and helpful, be careful coming down the slope after the 2nd green, if you hit the brakes hard you will lose control of your cart, Trust me. The grounds crew was really cool about it. Went out as a single, think I was second guy out after another single, flew thru course in 2:45 and shot a decent score. Muni type clubhouse shack, some food and drink but nothing to write home about. I was there for the golf, if you're there to entertain big money clients you might want to go to a different spot. Have fun and don't forget to bring your camera, there were some very scenic holes and at 29$ on Golf-Now it is exceptionally priced and worth the drive.

Buddy and I (26&28 years old) were in area and decided to grab a round last minute -- booked in parking lot. If under the age of 50, avoid Tuesday mornings if at all possible. Ladies Day; avg age of 65. Pace of play was an issue, but overall wasn't a bad day, good thing weather was perfect. Course is in good shape -- greens rolled very well. Not a ton of undulation but quick, true and will punish you if you don't make a good stroke. Older style Florida course. At 65$ it was priced well considering other courses in the area.

1st time playing this course--buddies recommended it so I figured why not--paid the So FL Resident rate which is fair for 9am on a Saturday morning. Course conditions were good, not immaculate but well kept considering how much traffic the course gets. It's an old-school layout, on the shorter side but has plenty of penalties . The course will keep you thinking off the tee and the greens have plenty of slope to keep you interested. Would play again--feel like I left some shots out there and I want a rematch! Hit em straight and Happy Holidays!

Great views...local feel---local prices. Course in good condition--not pristine but very playable---keep the ball in play--a good number of holes with OB to both sides. Greens are on the slower side but roll very well. Interesting elevation changes and some challenging dog legs. Overall great experience!!! Would highly recommend and can't wait to play again.

Played the east--fairly easy course -- greens have some spots that need repair. Course doesn't drain well at all -- day before no rain--course still soaked from rain a couple days before--cart path only. Green fees are fair, range bucket steep at 10$ For 45balls. Pick your days.

Played Heron and Ibis, two completely different layouts. Heron being a traditional Florida course, and ibis more of a carolinas undulated links look. Both in very good condition. Highly enjoyable. Chose a 7:30am fast play, 1st available tee time, paired up at 8am after all the members went out and almost missed my hotel check out. Leave yourself with time.

Used to walk this course in high-school with my brother. Went back with him to see that not much has changed. Very playable - some long par 3's and some tight dog legs. Beware of the power lines that run in front of the tips on #17, they will put a damper on your round. Other than that I really enjoyed a walk down memory lane.

Do not forget your bug spray. Mosquito's the size of F16 jets await. Other than the loss of blood, the course was extremely enjoyable. Staff was more than accommodating. The pristine conditions and scenic holes make it a must play in the Savannah area.

Fairway bunkers as tee boxes, Weeds growing in the greens. Poor Fairway conditions. Only a handful of holes that you could say were in below average condition. Poor course - all that history and it remains an old run down lot of grass.

Get there early and enjoy free range balls, accessible chipping area and putting green. Easy layout. Water comes in play, not a lot of sand. Fairly easy approaches if your straight off the tee. The greens require attention. Watch out for the gators!

Great course, fabulous course for the golf now price. Need to work on your sand game? They have around 99 bunkers that you can practice in, no joke. Overall great experience. Enjoy!

VERY nice public course. Windy conditions made it tougher than normal but was not unplayable. Greens will expose even a minute weakness in your short game and tons of bunkers will leave you thinking on almost every shot. Very tough course to manage first time out. Would definitely play again.

A couple of tight dog legs make this course somewhat difficult but leaves you with numerous holes to make up shots. Play conservatively on hole 15 and you should have a good round. Great practice course with decent greens.

Decent course and not a bad lay out. Offers difficulty with water and narrow tree-lines. Greens were ridiculously slow. Free range balls at what looks like an abandoned parking lot. Back 9 looks like the course hasn't been tended to in a while.
