Sedona Golf Resort
Played On 03/22/2021First visiting Sedona......
There are only 3 public 18 hole courses in Sedona,.....course is beautiful. A bit pricey. I wonder if the green fees were for the red rock views more than the fairways. This is a great challenging track, local knowledge would have helped, but I will play it again
Longbow Golf Club
Played On 11/26/2020Visiting for Thanksgiving
Very nice course..
I used the 3 wood more than the driver because of the light/ waste area just outside of the fairways.
Challenging course that requires local knowledge.
Many bunkers, fairway and green side, seemed like they were more wet dirt than sand.
Greens were large enough to miss and still have a up and down chance.
My only pet peeve is that that were too many ball marks on the greens, which isn’t the courses fault, but I’d wish golfers would fix theirs and 2 more to make it nicer for all

Played On 05/20/2017I'll play it again.
Definitely need course knowledge. I played with 3 regulars that helped me out all day. The greens has a few too many dirt spots. And 3 tee boxes were in bad shape. Course was challenging but not impossible.
Las Vegas Golf Club
Played On 05/19/2017it had been 20 years
I realized once I got to the first par 3, that I had played this course before, 20 years for a friends bachelor party. I would say that the course is 100 % better than I remember it. a great value. the course had a couple of spots along the way that could use some attention, but overall, it was a good day at the course. I was paired with 3 regulars that made my round a lot easier, nothing is better than course knowledge.
Rancho San Joaquin Golf Course
Played On 07/18/2016trying to play every course in the area, this was the 5th...not the worst, but close. room for improvement
playing a course for the first time always has its issues. luckily for me I met a member that plays 8 times a week. he warned me of dangers with blind shots and green slopes. I will play it again because it is close and a good value. my concerns are: I didn't see a marshal after I teed off. there were many, many dirt patches along the fairways. the group in front of us( 4 men ) didn't obey the cart rules on the holes that were not to be driven on, again, no marshal. I didn't find any water coolers. there wasn't any patch soil on the par 3's. I understand that the course is getting better, but the dirt patches is just not excusable. I also stood in soogy grass at least 5 times near the greens. the greens were the best feature of the course. though I did find myself fixing ball marks on every green.
