My snow bird group plays this course a couple times a year. Its a fun course and is well maintained.
Today management allowed a group to play as a fivesome even after several attempts to break them up. This caused extremely slow play. When we asked why this was allowed we were told it was managements decision.

I don't think we will be back any time soon.

Slower rounds are expected in Florida. Last Friday March 9thhit a record slow. Valencia is a challenging course but not that challenging. There were numerous player assistance on the course that didn’t do a thing. While they like the course, I am sure my golf buddies will not return.

Nice course. Friendly atmosphere. Definitely worth playing.

This is a great course that is always above average in condition and service and enjoyment. Because of the spacing of the tee time you very seldom see any other golfers once you tee off. This should be the first stop on anyone Michigan golf vacation.

Great course, wide selection of tees makes it enjoyable for many difference levels of golfers, friendly and helpful staff, and great practice facility. If you are a low handicapper looking for a challenge you might prefer the sister course (The Flamingo). The food and service at the Sam Snead Grille is excellent.
