Hunter's Creek Golf Club
Played On 05/03/2017Decent golf, no customer service
Played this course for $14 on a hot deal which may be why the staff in pro shop couldn't be bothered. Told to help ourselves to a buggy but struggled to find one with a key, didn't tell us that we needed a code for the restrooms on the course and only when I went looking for a cool box was I told that I had to buy something first before I could have one. I certainly don't mind spending money at any course I play but we certainly didn't hang around for drinks as the staff seemed unfriendly
The course itself is reasonably short with some tight fairways to test your accuracy. The staff have tended the greens well during the recent drought which were some of the best we've seen although some of the fairways were very brown. Looking at the low levels of water in the ponds you have to admire how well they have maintained the greens
Overall a decent game for the price paid
Celebration Golf Club
Played On 04/26/2017Excellent condition as always
I have to admit that Celebration is one of my favourite Orlando courses and once again it didn't disappoint. The county has been suffering a dry spell but the greens staff still have the course and greens in great condition. There are enough challenges here for all handicap levels and the greens are fast and testing. No GPS in the carts now but assume that most serious golfers have their own devices.
As always the pace of play was slow, very slow at start of round taking 1 hour for first three holes and 5 hours in total with queues on most tee boxes. Come prepared for a slower game, enjoy the scenery and the sunshine and you'll have a great game
Legends Golf & Country Club

This was my second time playing this course and enjoyed it even more than the first. Lots of sand traps which caught me out on most holes but the greens were receptive. Some work has been done around some of the greens making short chip and run shots a challenge but it certainly didn't spoil the round. Almost had the course to ourselves, Will play here again
Great place to play and eat
Stoneybrook is a great overall course, challenging enough for all levels of player. Although water features on most holes, the fairways are wide enough to stay out of trouble if you are accurate. We encountered slow play and course backed up behind a local group, and with no ranger, we admired the view. Course buggies did not have GPS which is always a shame, but it didn't spoil our score. We had a play and dine option, and the kitchen did the course proud. Overall a great place to play not too far from Disney but at a much better price
