With slow play being the biggest problem with Golf.. why would the Club allow Fivesome to booK and tee off? Then to make things just a little more difficult they would not allow smaller groups to play thru.

we were stuck behind two groups of 5 who thought they were play at a PGA event....front nine was soooo slow the back was quicker when one group of 5 gave way to us ... a group of 3. WHY groups of 5
North Golf Course at Sun City

I have played most of the Sun City Courses...dollar value and access to tee times is very good. Pace of play is a real problem during Dec Jan, Feb and Mar. A 5 hours round is normal and on this date it was 5 1/2 hours.
Groups with 5 golfers, split tee sheets(golfers starting on both 9's), people walking that can barely walk , new golfers on full 18 hole course swing a club for the 1st time and not having the courtesy to play best ball. I am retired so time is not really an issue but I will not be returning to avoid the frustration. I can get around most times in 3 hours.
