I am a short hitter (normally play Sr tees) and found regular men's tees a bit too long off the tee for me. Otherwise, course was in good shape and play was challenging.

Pace of play extremely slow dictated by foursome in front of us. As we found out there were several holes open in front of them. Finally jumped ahead on back 9 after 2.5 hr front 9. A ranger/marshall would have been a major help. Course is extremely challenging due to way too many bunkers. Played from senior tees that played fair on front and were an after thought on back, playing the same as forward tees. Overall a good golf course and would recommend.

Was able to play front 9 holes with my wife. Weather was mild, course condition was pretty good considering all the rain lately. Paired up with 2 gentlemen, one local, who made the round enjoyable. Staff was professional.

Course was soft from all the rain that has pounded the area, but starting to dry out. Tee boxes and greens were good. Have played here before and will play again. Challenging layout from the senior tees for me and from forward tees for my wife.

Was able to walk 18 the day before Thanksgiving in Maine. A real treat. Old Marsh is a challenging course and in great shape. Staff was excellent. Highly recommend.

Played with my wife and another couple. All agreed the course was fun and challenging, in good shape, and would likely play here again. First time through you won't be sure of the carry distances which in reality are not far for most golfers. Signs on tee box tell you carry distance to hazard. Only markers we could find were 150 and 100. Only negative would be condition of forward tee boxes, as is the case with too many golf courses who view them as an afterthought.

Played here in June and wanted to play here again. Big mistake. Red course needs a lot of work. Good routing, no upkeep. White course was fine, but also in need of some work, tee boxes and greens especially. Totally different recommendation this time. Staff is pleasant,professional, and helpful, and deserve a better golf course. Maybe it's an early spring, late fall kind of golf course.

My wife and I enjoyed the round. Course was in good shape with a couple of greens and tee boxes needing a little TLC. Only complaint would be the two guys who jumped ahead of us on the 10th tee. Course could use a little course management there. Would play again with a GOLFNOW hot deal.

My wife and I enjoyed the somewhat challenging course. Variety of uphill and downhill shots to smallish greens. Tee box and fairways could use some TLC, greens were fine. The staff was friendly and the Caddy Shack Pub/restaurant was very good. GOLFNOW.COM hot deal made it a good value.

Course is in good shape. Drawback as first time players is the number of blind shots. My wife also enjoyed the course. Overall experience was positive. Food and service in restaurant was good.

Played with a friend and paired up with brothers who knew the course and were great to play with. Excellent course, very challenging, in very good condition. Staff was very friendly. Would like to play here again.

I have played here a few times over the last couple of years when visiting RI and thought the course was okay. The course yesterday was in good to very good condition, with the greens pretty challenging. Some of the tee boxes could use a little TLC. The staff was friendly and professional. Overall a very good value.

This is the way every round should be played, minus the extreme wind. Challenging course in very nice condition. Attentive staff. Great deal.

Enjoyed everything from the attentiveness of the Pro in getting me started to the challenging course layout and excellent condition (we are coming off a very tough and extended winter). Had a great Golfnow Hot Deal. Played as a single at a very satisfying pace. Will play here again and highly recommend this course on Golfnow.com.

Played an enjoyable round of golf with 3 friends in mid December (42 degrees, little wind) on a challenging course. Fairways were fairly leaf free and most were dry without being frozen. Greens were in good shape. Looking forward to playing here again.

Course was in good shape. Play was way too slow. One continuous backup. A ranger may have helped. Players need to be willing to pair up to help move play along.

Course was in good shape tee to green. Played in under 3 hrs. Staff (I talked with several staff members around the course) was very friendly and the course showed how well they do their work. Great GOLFNOW Hot Deal. I normally play from Sr tees but was able to score well from the whites. Knowing the doglegs next time will help. Only minor negative, water buckets and port o john were on front 9 only.

Overall it was enjoyable. Course was in decent shape fairways and greens, tee boxes need a lot of work. Water available on front and back very good on a 90 degree day. A ranger would help play move smoothly. People need to fix their ball marks.

Course was in good condition, greens a bit quicker than they look and feel. Challenging layout, doglegs and hills add to shot process. Speed of play picked up on back nine after ranger appearance. Overall a good Golfnow.com value.
