Better last time

Greens very slow and staff treated us like necessary revenue versus welcom paying customers. Last trip to this track 2.5 years ago much better. Until they correct both pieces would recommend you look elsewhere.

Work in progress

They're spending a great deal of money removing trees which will open up the course nicely. That said, they should first invest in the greens. I can forgive poor tee boxes and even pretty iffy fairways but to have greens that are pathetic at best is not acceptable. There wasn't a true roll the entire 18 holes among our foursome anything outside 4 feet. The staff was kind and accommodating. The layout was very challenging and when they get the greens figure it out it will be a must play.

Hi Kent, thank you for the review. It is great to hear that you enjoyed our course's layout and that our staff was friendly. We do however regret to hear that the course conditions were not up to par. This is not the experience we want for our golfers and will definitely pass this note along. Thank you for playing and we hope to see you again!

Aloha and thank you for your feedback! We are doing massive renovations to restore the course as you observed. The jungle encroached on the course so badly that we were on the verge of losing the greens due to lack of sunlight and airflow. The 1st step to restoring the greens was to clear the surrounding trees. Since the removal of the trees, the greens that were nearly lost have recovered about 90% and we expect full recovery soon. Thank you again and please let me know if you are back this way to see us when the restoration is completed.

Good track

Maybe I caught this course on a bad day. It started poorly, I waited for an attendant at the bag drop/ cart area for a while and finally decided to go to the clubhouse. I paid the very reasonable green fee and was told that someone would find me when it was time to tee off. They never did. I found the other folks I was playing with and fortunately they knew where the first tee was located. I think they had a member event that day so the staff might have been a little over matched. No ice for water at the turn and no beverage service on the back nine added to my impression about the staff. I don't need to be treated like a member, but a paying customer should receive reasonable service.

The course was in good shape and was a decent layout. Bunkers need a refresh and some tee boxes lacked a level area, at least from the blue tees. Greens were the bright spot, they were in great shape. I might try the course again, but next time I would pack my own water.
