You must play here! The staff is Amazing!!!

The layout was amazing and the course was great. Experience scenic holes for the entire round.

Earl checked me in and offered me lunch with the round which would save me $10. He also asked if I needed golf balls or anything of that nature. (I always appreciate people asking since I can forget sometimes)

I wasn't sure if I was going to eat lunch after as the other guys in the group wanted to go elsewhere as we live about 40 minutes away. Earl allowed me time to warm up and check in until I found out from the guys. I also asked for a 6 pack of beer and the brand I wanted was not present in the pro shop. Earl went out of his way to get me a six-pack of beer of my preference. I bought a logo ball, a flag, and checked in for my round. He was multi-tasking and it was the best check-in experience I've ever experienced in my eight years of golfing.

The outside staff person greeted me when I arrived and informed me of what I needed to know as I've never played here. He offered me ice for my cooler and gave me plain simple instructions. (He had a nametag on but I did not catch his name)

The ranger was awesome, I couldn't see his name tag (as we were at a weird angle) he greeted us and I held a brief conversation with him and didn't ask as our conversation was brief but efficient. He worked out for us (Three-ball) to play through a four-ball and we didn't even ask him too. :) We are decent golfers but still have our trouble. The group in front of us was friendly and the pace was great all day. (We understand people have trouble in golf; for those that have issues with pace of play, book an earlier tee time)

I will be returning as the course is one of the most unique I have seen. I will be bringing more people back to your course and would not hesitate to make the drive out there again. I would also not mind staying for lunch and playing a second round.

For those reading this, you have to play this course. Clermont area offers some elevations that are unique to Florida. The course is fair and I was taking pictures the whole time. The Staff was amazing and Legends is doing it right. To the management, please give my best regards to those who made our experience amazing.

We played at 0940 hrs on 19 Nov 2017.

Diamond in the rough

This course has excellent potential. The greens are new and will prove worthy once they settle in. (Even the day I played they proved worthy) The tee boxes and around the greens need work but if you have a good swing or good fundamentals don't worry about it. If you don't like the conditions of some of the areas, just move the ball. (It will save the area trying to heal and you will hit a better shot, if you don't; don't blame the course, blame your fundamentals)

The management definitely has the plan to bring the course below par :) but don't let bad reviews stop you from playing here. After playing here this course is in my top 3 in Orlando/Kississimmee since I see the huge potential in it. The layout is fantastic. 250 Par 3's that will challenge you from the tips if you can't shape your shots. The fairways were in excellent shape. This was my first time playing this course and I drove over an hour to it even after reading bad reviews. It was challenging but most importantly the staff was so friendly and welcoming.

The Head Pro was very friendly, welcoming before the round. After the Round, I talked to the Head Pro. I believe his name was Josh (Forgive me if that is not correct) He was a Marine and it made for a nice conversation with myself being a Veteran. He welcomed me to come back and I let him know I absolutely would be back.

The new logo is awesome. I've never really ever said this about a logo but it just is. The F&B staff were excellent too. Ensuring I had enough water, Gatorade, and ice before the round and on the turn. This is a huge point to make since some courses don't have water on the course.

Pace was awesome even when it looked like we would be slowed down, the shop allowed us to start on the back since no one was coming down number nine. My buddy and I don't take much time to play 18 at all.

The Value for the course is absolutely there based on the customer service. If Forbes rated my golf experience, they would give it 5 stars. I didn't shoot my best round and I didn't shoot my worst round but I felt like I conquered a difficult course but at the end of the day it doesn't matter what I did with my golf game; I want to come back because of the staff and the excellent first impression they gave me. This course is a Diamond in the Rough and just waiting to explode.

Do yourself and play this course. I traveled 40 minutes to get here since. I saw the advertisements on tv and wanted to play somewhere new and it was a great course. There were many of people in front of me but pace of play was awesome.

One of the best experiences

excellent staff, they were there to greet me and take my bag, at the end of the round Scott took me to my vehicle and wiped my clubs down and invited me to come back which I will. Practice facility was set up prepared and very professional in appearance. The bunkers and greens were an accurate reflection of the course conditions. Starter was at the first tee and very knowledgable of the course, I kept seeing Rangers all day long checking the pace of play and stopping by to say hello. Pace of play was excellent. I originally played this course because of the reviews I read on it, I had to travel 45 minutes to get here and would do so again. The course design is really above reproach. It was also very nice to not have to worry about the lies on the course since it is so well maintained. I'm already planning my next trip out there.
