Don't waste your time or money
No fairway turf. Greens chewed up with disease. Slow pace of play and rude players. Better suited for a park.

If you don't mind playing from unmowed pasture grass, old grass clippings, weeds and washed out eroded areas this course is for you. The greens are more like the fairways I usually play. Slow doesn't even begin to describe the green speeds. You'd be better off spending time on the range. I'll not be back.
Bear Creek Golf Club

Greens are quite undulating which makes putting on Champions Bermuda interesting. The problem is whoever set the pins hasn't a clue. most were set on the side of hogsbacks or ridges. You can't set pins on slick greens like that. The only other area is also maintenance related. As we get into fall, bermuda grows slower and eventually stops until late Spring. They are mowing the grass to the point that there is nothing to hit off of. It makes for frustrating golf when hitting off of hard pan or mud. Other than that it was a great day to shoot 70.

Still enjoy this course but they need to have Marshals to keep up the pace of play. Whether it's walkers holding up riders or a 3 some with a little kid letting him hit 4 or 5 shots out of a bunker while holding up a single, that is not what brings players back. Edicate is a much a part of the game as the game itself. Keep up the pace of play. Restrict walkers on the weekends or remind them to let faster player play through and everything works. If you need a marshal for that, there's already a problem.
