Regardless the time of year you can always expect an enjoyable round of golf at a very fair value for your money. The course is consistently well maintained where rarely there is a need to improve your lie. The “super” and his crew should be complimented for a job well done. Course design is everything you want in a course whatever your skill level, requiring course management as you negotiate your way through the 18 holes. After your round, you can enjoy a first rate prepared lunch (typical post golf fare) and ice cold beer at a very fair price. Hats off, to the Head Pro and his staff as they’re always interested in improving your future experiences at the course.

Enjoyable day, course was in excellent condition with exceptional greens. For time of year and unusual weather conditions (very cold) not sure you would find a course in the area better prepped. Hats off the the “super” and his staff. Will definitely play in future on a regular basis.

Having driven from Hilton Head to visit family I found this course an unexpected delight from start to finish, well worth the drive. Course condition was excellent with kudos going to the "super" and his staff for it's fine maintenance. Fairways, rough, traps, greens and tee boxes were superior, didn't roll a ball all day. Courteous staff was encountered throughout round and the food was not only good but fairly priced. Great day at a great course, looking forward to my next visit.

As always a great day at the course! Compliments to the ownership and staff for the work to bring back this course and then some from the aftermath of Matthew. If your into conditioning and layout this track is worth the price of admission. Would recommend the "whites" or "blacks" to ensure an enjoyable round as you will definitely contend with the green side bunkers. After round accommodations are great with good food and drink. You won't regret this choice!

Always look forward to playing a new course and Southbridge did not disappoint. Having played a number of Rees Jones design layouts this one was equally enjoyable with the elevated greens and over-sized green side bunkers on a number of holes. Given the time of year the course was nicely manicured (didn't need to roll a ball) as well as bunkers. Was well worth the 30 minute ride.

First time playing course since hurricane Matt. No question course sustained "hit" however course crew was up to the task resulting in a "complete" clean up. Never rolled a ball during round. Greens have come back from summer stress. It was an enjoyable golf experience.

Course was in excellent condition given time of year. Unfortunately the amount of play seriously impacted the enjoyment for the day. The facilities for some reason didn't have enough carts to handle the afternoon flow resulting in groups standing around waiting. Once on the course play was extremely slow making for a long day. Will try the course a second time to see if this day was the norm or the exception.

As always the course was in tip-top shape. Cart restrictions were on six holes however given the amount of rain recently was surprised it was only six. Course length and design is enjoyable for all based on tee box selection. Would say with exception to the exclusive private clubs off the island this would rank at the top for play conditions.

Thoroughly enjoyable experience! Course condition was superior obviously well-cared for. Golf course design was both enjoyable and interesting with particular emphasis on the shaping of greens and green side bunkers. Would highly recommend to all.

Given the difficult weather issues the past four weeks this track played beautifully from tee to green. Fairways were the best I've played all spring. From a $ value standpoint nothing has come close to what I experienced today. Would recommend to all.

from the moment you arrive in their parking lot you immediately feel the private club atmosphere. Staff courtesy throughout lent to the enjoyment of the day. Course design and difficulty is everything you could ask for regardless of handicap. Looking forward to again playing this track during the growth season as I'm sensing conditions will likely be excellent!

Conditions were great for February 1st. Layout offers everything you could ask for in course design. The par 4's are particularly strong featuring a variety of distances requiring careful club selection. Grill is comfortable offering a great light fare following your round. Staff was very friendly.

Always a treat to play this track regardless of the time of year. Conditions were exceptional for the middle of January. Layout accommodates all whether you're scratch golfer or a high handicapper. Highly recommend to anyone looking for that "special" country club experience
