The group in front of us was allowed to bring an extra cart with a mother and infant riding. There are not enough good golfers and a lot of parallel holes on this course to make me feel like this is safe. The mom proceeded to let the infant run free on the course while her family golfed.

The staff was welcoming and responsive. The course was in good shape but had some holes that were wet whyi. They can’t really help. The greens were fast but consisten. Overall great value for the price in the winter.

Overall this was a great course. The layout was fair but challenging. The only drawback was slow play, but that is too be expected for a Saturday.

They did Overseed early so it was nice to play a decent course that wasn’t CPO this time of year without breaking the bank. One of the better Sun City courses.

Other than the Ranger who told us to speed up when we were keeping pace with the group ahead of us when we were a hole ahead of the group behind us. We were on pace with the score card time and never fell behind the group ahead of us.

There is some quirkiness to the middle 6 holes if this course. But it is a super fun and challenging course. I try to play it 1 time each year.

Nothing but positive things to say about this course

Decent track, good pace of play. Sod fairways are a little rough

Other than the crotchety starter, who later became the crotchety old Marshall, thus was a great day of golf with my son and daughter. We had a 2:32 tee time and Carl sent us to the tee box about 15 minutes early. The old man starter was rude and condescending and sent us back to the range to wait. Not a huge deal since we were early but a smile goes a long way when you are in the service industry. Two minutes later we get called back to the Tee.

We were “pleasantly” greeted by him on hole 15. Two of us were playing the blues and he couldn’t understand that we followed the sign and knew what we were doing. I can’t exactly explain but he just kept pointing at the sign with the arrow and interrupted our tee shot.

Other that that, the course was fine. And Carl was really friendly.

Beautiful course with a great staff. The greens were tricky and the tall grass eats balls but that has more to do with my game than anything else.

We went out as the first group after the ladies who were on the course before sunrise. We zipped around the course in 2.5 hours. The course was in good shape but we were allowed to go out prior to the frost lifting which made the first few greens tough to putt on. That was more our fault than the course.

This was v the best value you can find in Phx in January. Course is in great shape and the greens were decent but really slow.

Overall this is a get what you pay for course. They started us early which was ok but we waited 5 minutes on each of the first 4 holes. The greens were not in great shape.

Really enjoyed this challenging track. It was extremely hot so we played the course in a little over 3 hours. I could see how pace of play could be slow if they were busy. Only negative is the drive from the bag drop to the 1st tee.
