Peacock Gap Golf Club
Played On 08/29/2019Good course - fairly open and flat
Does have its challenges but also quite a lot of wide-open spaces
Valley of the Moon Golf Club
Played On 03/13/2017Tight course - interesting tree placements!
Considering the rain we'd had, the course was in pretty good condition, although some of my shots still plugged on the fairway and in the rough. Lost 3 balls in places I wouldn't have expected to.
The tee boxes and greens were excellent.
Because of the time of year there were few leaves on the trees - it meant you could try going through as opposed to round them! In the summer it will all be about ball positioning.
A little slow at times but not too bad.
Rooster Run Golf Club
Played On 10/01/2016Great Course - Great Condition
Although fairly flat, there is enough interest around and on the greens to keep you focused. Combined with the water hazards and the OB around the edge it is a challenge. Played off the white tees as it was my first time here - blues certainly looked a lot more challenging in some spots.I'd definitely recommend it if you are in the area.
San Geronimo Golf Club
Played On 10/14/2013Great Course - some challenges
Played this a couple of times now (both as a single). It starts quite easily but then just as you are thinking there's nothing to it, two or three holes come along which make you step back a little. There is some water that is quite strategically placed and if you don't know the course it can catch you out. I like it!!
Stone Tree Golf Club
Played On 9/11/2013Nice course - gets tougher as you go...
Played for the first time - first 5 or 6 holes are fairly standard - but from there on it gets increasingly difficult. Some long carries to reach fairways, some narrow fairways and quite a bit of water, especially around the middle of the card. Greens were excellent and true - the fairways also well maintained. Got a little slow a times, playing as a single but nowhere to go through...
