Mountain Vista Golf Club - San Gorgonio Course
Played On 02/23/2024Lovely course, unwelcoming staff
I joined a shotgun start of mostly members and had a great day on the course. The greens didn't seem to run true, but the course is in very good condition. It was a very enjoyable experience except for our check-in as the staff made me feel as if I was imposing on their day. Best thing was we finished the round in 4 hours and the weather was perfect.
Cimarron Golf Club - Boulder Course
Played On 02/22/2023Crabby staff and slow play ruined the day for me
Our tee time was 12:51, and we didn’t tee off until 1:15 because there were not enough carts and a backup on the starting hole. Staff were rude and run off their feet trying to find carts for everyone.. although the course was in good shape, the pace of play 4 hours 40 minutes) made it a disappointing day all around.

Played On 12/13/2021Course was fabulous, but delay getting in and one staff member ruined our day
We thoroughly enjoyed the course - it was in great condition and the layout design was fabulous. However, a 20 minute wait at the security gate to get in, and an incredibly rude staff member really put us off coming back. The delay at the gate was ridiculous - they should have either a separate line for golfers or two staff members working the gate, This was our second time playing here and the first time we waited 25 minutes to get in and almost missed out tee time. Once we arrived, I was checking in and my husband was putting on what he thought was the putting green (2 people putting, 3 chipping) and a staff member basically yelled at him to get off the chipping green. There were no signs saying it was only a chipping green, and the guy was very abrupt, so we started off on a sour note.

What a hidden gem this course is. We played in u dear 4 hours and the course was in great condition, with spectacular greens.

Played On 10/13/2014Great course but a bit slow
Wide open fairways, challenging par 3s and a beautiful day - who could ask for more? The only downside was the 4.5 hour round - a bit slow for my liking.
As mentioned above, my main concerns were the 25 minute delay in teeing off because there were no carts available and staff were quite rude (probably because they didn't have enough carts and people were not happy about it). I realize sometimes things get backed up, but if staff had explained the delay when we arrived and apologized for it, then it wouldn't have been a big deal. Instead, they were brusque and implied it was our fault that we wanted a cart. The pace of play was also a concern and we didn't see a marshall all afternoon so it appears no one cared that is was a 4 hour 40 minute round.
