This a challenging course. I haven't played they're much this year. They have raised their fees between five and eight dollars more than last year. I was disappointed to see that some of the tea boxes and especially the sand traps, or should I say Stone and weed traps, we're extremely disappointing. Fortunately I only went in them once. I don't understand how you can raise your fees on a golf course and not even put sand in your sand traps. See the pictures below.

Unfortunately I left my golf shoes home, so I decided to bite the bullet and get some from the pro shop. The Pro shop did not carry shoes or for that matter. they only had Golf Balls and a few clearance shirts. No biggie, but then we get assigned a filthy cart! I checked the other carts out also. They were all dirty. It seems just a few months ago they had to sanitize carts, I would think just washing and keeping them clean wouldn't be that hard. Pace of play was okay for a Sunday about 5 hours. We were a twosome behind a family with 2 young kids that wouldn't let us through... And there was no Ranger.

My previous review of my experience yesterday was based on being treated kind of carelessly. I went back to play the next day and what a difference! The young man greeted me and was very welcoming as he saw I was a single made sure I wouldn't run into league. This is the way I've been treated there 99% of the time. Maybe I was a little to sensitive under my emotional conditions.
It doesn't change the fact that this is one of the best courses in the area. As always I will continue to recomend.

I've was extremely disappointed today.
I know Sundays are busy, so to my surprise the 1st tee was open.
I ask if I could get out the guy said sure. I played 4 holes, on the fifth hole there were 3 groups sitting and waiting to hit. So as a single player I looked for a open hole.
It was jammed! No marshall.
When I went to get a rain check for tomorrow the guys said it wasn't raining! The he divided my greens fee by 18 subtracted 4 and gave me the difference. Then told me they had a tournament out also. This is the kind of "we don't care attitude" that closes courses. I am going to stop recommending this courses. And stop playing there.
I've play all over. Played there about 10 times this year. They know it.
I'm not sure why he had to rag on me.
Told me I should have brought someone with me. I ignored it. I lost my wife to cancer 6 months ago.
This is the 1st year that I have to play single. It makes me feel closer to her..

Tee boxes,fairways greens all in good shape! Fun track with a few blind shots. Challenging.
Would recomend.

Greens were medium speed but true and consistent.
Only down side would be shallow traps, more Sand in them! Unfortunately I was in then alot.
Fun course great value for the $$$

Was a joy to play.
Played in the NYS USGA Amiture Series
The conditions were the best imaginable despite the rain. No puddles or slop.
Will play here every chance I can.

This is one of the most challenging, well kept courses in the Syracuse Area. The Greens are Fast and consistent. Tee boxes are in great shape.
If there is a negative the cart paths could use some Love. They need stone and or some leveling. That didn't stop my wife from shooting 95, she beat me pretty good! Lol!

Not a lot of grass on most holes.
50 % Greens have disease or frost damage.
50 % of the tee boxes are sand...
None of the traps have very much sand nor were they raked...
When I finished and took my shoe off they looked like they were sandblasted clean.
Disappointing.

we have played this course in the past and it has been very good. Unfortunately, the conditions we're not good. Basically all the green were unputtable in bad shape.
No true rolls. It's regrettable

Very Changeling hill course. The course is in GREAT condition! It has been all season. Green are fast and consistent. One of the best in the area.

This course is in great condition! Always challenging with its hilly terrain. Greens were fast and consistent.
Just the way I like them. As far as scenery, you will not find a prettier view of the city and the countryside.
A definite must play when in the Syracuse area.

Beautiful layout. Great conditions. Nice quiet round. No cars, houses or other golfers to contend with. The staff really seems to want you to play and have a great day. Playing the East course tomorrow. Can't wait.
