The course was in excellent condition and the pace of play was acceptable. This course is famous for a number of reasons, including its difficulty. If you can shoot a legitimate score equal to your handicap, you have had an excellent day. Very challenging and lots of fun if you are playing well.

Have played here many times. Almost always a treat. Conditions were excellent.

Some greens and surrounds not in good condition. One green was temporary. Some fairways excellent, others not so much.

My brother and I play in Hilton Head every year. In the past, this course has been in somewhat better condition.
Currently, I would say the conditions on the course are average.

Pace of play was pretty slow. 4.75 hours for 18 holes. Greens pretty recently sanded, but they rolled pretty well. The fairways were ok, at best. Overall, the price was fair for the experience.

I play here once every year. The course was in good condition, not excellent. The greens weren't as smooth or as fast as in the past, but they were certainly very playable.

This is a fun and quite challenging layout. It's fun to play where the pros play. The course was in good condition.

I played this course around Thanksgiving for the first time. Yesterday, was the second time. The fairways and greens on the front nine were not good at all. The greens were heavily spotted with poa annua and the fairways were in rough condition. The back nine fairways were better, but average at best. The greens were also better and about average in condition.

Front nine was very enjoyable and in good condition. The back nine was more scenic but not in as good condition. The fairways were mediocre at best. Overall, the greens for the whole course were good.

Very nice area, but the tee boxes fairways and green surrounds were disappointing in terms of playing conditions. The greens were nice. Played by myself and played 18 holes in 2 hours and 15 minutes. Played through only 3 groups.

We had never played this course. The golf professional was very friendly and the pro shop was clean and neat. The driving range was average. The course itself was in reasonable condition; not great but not bad. The layout was interesting and the greens were pretty small overall.

This was a very nice course that was in excellent condition other than the 45 minute rain storm that moved in as we played the first hole. There was a lot of casual water after the storm for a couple of hours. We are definitely going back later this week and hopefully catch drier conditions.

Enjoyable layout and plenty of challenge in windy condition from the blue tees for 68 year old.. Fairways were decent and greens were excellent.

This was a disappointment. Conditions were average at best. Over priced.

Very generous fairways. Played from Blue Tees at less than 6,300 yards. Almost 68 years old and the course seemed short. Enjoyable round. A few wet spots in some fairways. Had 4 or 5 mud balls to play. All in all, a fun track but pretty easy.

I played this course today. The greens were very nice and a good speed. The fairways were not good, but playable.
