Riverside Golf Club
Played On 08/18/2017Great course and staff
Awesome course, tough at times when the wind is up, but in great condition.
Staff is super friendly.... And eager to help....Their motto is "happy to do it", and they live by that...
I love this place, it feels like home.
Waterchase Golf Course
Played On 06/18/2016Fun course... Sandy greens
I love this course. The first time I played it, about 8 years ago, I rinsed 6 sleeves of balls as a beginner... Now that I'm playing more regularly, and shooting in the mid to low 80s, I recognize that greens are a pivotal part of the course. The greens on this course were filled with sand. At times to the point where it seemed as if I was putting in a bunker. I expect better course conditions when I pay $50 for a round of golf. Now to be fair, the rest of the course was in excellent shape and the course service came early and often on a hot Saturday afternoon. I think a suggestion not only for this course but for all courses is, if you, as a course have aerated the greens and filled them with sand, alert the players or cut the cost....my $0.02.
Lakes at Indian Creek Golf Course
Played On 09/29/2014Needs some work in the fairways, but has descent greens.
I played the Creeks a while back, and I remember it being in better condition than the Lakes. This course needs some work, there are issues all over, particularly the fairways. Someone or something is digging holes little holes in the fairway....Not a result from plugging the grass to promote aeration....this was sporadic dirt clumps in the fairway that effected tee shot distances and sometimes ball lie, not to mention it was a major eye sore...The cart was extremely slow, walking would have been faster...The greens were quick, and rolled true. Lots of subtle hard to see breaks, made putting challenging. If I would play again, it would be The Creeks, not The Lakes.
Hidden Creek Golf Club
Played On 02/09/2014Cold Day...stuck behind two foursomes
The course is not in bad condition. They redesigned a few of the holes since I last played. What used to be the 18th green is now wasteland (eye sore). But playing in February isn't pretty, unless you spend a pretty penny and visit a top tier course. Fairways and rough were all brown, but the greens were painted, which helped them stand out, and they did roll true. It was 45 degrees out, and windy, but overall, not a bad outing. I plan on playing this course again after it warms up.
Willow Springs Golf Course
Played On 6/17/2013Descent course for the price.
You can get into trouble on some holes, but for the most part, the course plays pretty open. Relatively short course that also gives lots of roll. Large pot holes in the fairways, makes it sometimes hard to find a descent fairway shot.
Lake Arlington Golf Course
Played On 4/15/2013Fun Holes, Over priced...but a local favorite
The price for this course is about $10-$15 too much. Its not worth $30 bucks on a weekday at noon. Its hard to find deals. But its the closest course to me, so they will continue to get my money.
Southern Oaks Golf Club

Challenging, but not worth the price or the drive.
Glen Garden Golf & Country Club

I always play well here. In and out in 3 hours. Greens were in excellent condition.
Texas Rangers Golf Club
Played On 11/10/2012Descent course for the money.
Some holes are very challenging, especially when the wind is blowing like it was yesterday.
Mr. Clark,
We apologize that you were not made aware of the recently aerified greens. It is always our intention to inform guests of current course conditions. In addition to notifying every guest when booking a tee time for the first week after aerification, we also offer twilight rates in consideration of the course not being up to our usual standards. Sorry we did not get that accurately conveyed to you.
