Pawleys Plantation Golf & Country Club
Played On 08/21/2014Felt like I played 2 different courses
The front 9 and the back 9 felt like 2 totally different courses. The front 9 was underwhelming lined by houses and not the low country course I was expecting. The back 9 was scenic low country marsh land and was beautiful. I went into this course with high expectations cause it was low country course designed by Jack and I was a bit disappointed.
Caledonia Golf & Fish Club
Played On 08/19/2014Best low country course in myrtle beach
This course had some of the most scenic low country views of any course I have played in MB. This is definitely the Cadillac of low country courses. Caledonia has a tee box for every skill level, the course doesn't play long from the whites so I was hesitant to play from them however the greens are small and guarded and good second shots are a must so I am glad I did not play from the blues. This is the best course I have played in the myrtle beach area.
Myrtle Beach National Golf Club - King's North Course
Played On 08/18/2014Fun risk reward course
This course was an absolute blast to play. Many of the par 5s were reachable in 2 but had greens guarded by sand or water making it all about risk reward. carts had new gps in them and the staff was extremely friendly, a great course to play.
