We play at Painted Mountain quite a bit because it is one of the best value for money courses in the area. The course is challenging enough to make it enjoyable and everything about the place, the people, facilities, etc are exactly what you want for an enjoyable golf experience.

The only negative side can be the pace of play. As with all good value courses, there is a mixture of golfing ability and if you are unfortunate to get stuck behind slow players, it isn't so much fun.

I definitely recommend having some refreshments at the restaurant afterwards.

An interesting golf course with great views from some of the tee boxes. Club house kitchen closes at 3:00 pm!! Apart from not being able to get something to eat after playing, wasn't a big problem, it was a very enjoyable day!!

Course was very quiet so we had no one holding us up or pushing us from behind. Greens were fast and good, fairways were wide and forgiving but not as good as they were on previous occasions. When we played it was cart path only so they were still protecting fairways after over seeding. The pleasure for us was playing on a quiet course that was in good enough condition to make it an enjoyable experience. Beware of bunkers and water hazards!!!
