Waldorf Astoria Golf Club
Played On 06/10/2017Solid challenging layout
Playing the blue tees at 6,600 proved to be a good challenging with steady winds blowing. Fairways seemed narrow as even some good drives found fairway bunkers that are well placed. Traps are deeper than other courses and there is plenty of water holes too. Overall scenic enjoyable round and first class facility.
Eagle/Osprey at Okeeheelee Golf Course
Played On 12/18/2016Sporty course with lots of challenges
The Heron Eagle 9s were challenging and scenic with plenty of water holes and scenery, lots of dog legs and plenty of tree trouble and traps. I seemed to find many of these this round. The wind was 15-20 mph and made for an even more adventurous round. Finally, for a Florida course, quite a few uphill shots and side hill lies. Overall an interesting experience especially for a public County owned course.
Palm Beach Golf Course
Played On 7/7/2013Scenic challenge
Windy seaside links with lots of water. Greens not the fastest but overall course in nice shape. Sometimes slower high handicap players due to par 3 playability.
Delray Beach Golf Club
Played On 5/15/2013Good test
While not in the best condition, course is well designed and challenging. Some blind shots with water. Good dog legs. Greens difficult to putt well. Enjoyable but not easy to score.
Hollywood Beach Golf & Country Club
Played On 12/23/2012Playable Donald Ross traditional course
Course is in decent shape. Greens are fast. Dropoffs behind many greens signature Donald Ross design. Not as many doglegs as other Ross courses. Some water holes. Not too long for average golfer.
Thank you for your review of Okeeheelee. We are happy to hear that you found the course both scenic and challenging. We look forward to seeing you on your next trip to the course.
