Riverside Golf Club
Played On 11/08/2015Good Course for the Money
Had an overall good experience at Riverside. The front nine is a little more open than the back nine, but the course overall is a pretty narrow course with dog legs on multiple holes. The course can also be somewhat challenging as water comes into play on several holes. Pace of play was good, but started to get backed up on the last few holes (we were a twosome, behind a twosome that was behind a foursome), but it didn't slow us down too much. Overall, if you can get in on GolfNow, the course is worth trying out - good value course in decent shape, and has sand and water throughout.
Tierra Verde Golf Club
Played On 09/18/2015Course is in Great Shape
Played a late afternoon 18 starting at 4pm on Friday. There were others on the course, but the pace of play was great. The course is in great condition, with the greens looking quite well given the hot July and August we have had. This course is good for all levels, as there are (I think) 4 or 5 tee box options. I will say a range finder is beneficial on this course, as many of the holes play shorter than they look. Overall, the staff is exceptional - pick you up from your car to the clubhouse, and have have a member waiting at the 18th green to clean your clubs. Watch for the hot deals, as this course is a steal when one is available.

Course was in good shape for how hot it has been. Not the most difficult course, but a fair amount of sand comes into play on most holes. I would call this course a good play for the average golfer, but with enough challenges to entertain the lower handicaps.
