3 rd time playing course over many years, it's not difficult, fair layout, can score if u can putt unfortunately greens were hard and speeds all over the place, bunkers need work,as well as fairways,if u want fun round that's not gonna stress u out play this course before u take on more difficult courses in the area, beverage cart only saw once bummer, I would recommend this course for fun

This was the second time playing this course, last time was at the same time of year and greens were good this time not so much after aeration, rest of course no problem. Golf carts very comfortable, wish I could have those cart seats in my SUV, good pace of play but again like other courses in Phoenix area I've played last week, no specials on beverage cart, there was 5 yrs ago
Would recommend this course

Had great time, good course, bunkers were rock hard, need some maintaining, pace of place was good right up to 13 hole, played from 9 in hour 25 min then caught up to poky 2 foursomes, from then on it was agonizing slow, well over 2 hours from 13 hole to finish back nine.
Would recommend course, good fair layout but only saw beverage cart once, and disappointed when I did see beverage person that no beer deals, used to be always had beer deals, found that all course I've played last week no deals...

Course was in good shape except for the greens which were punched, bunker sand needed to be raked, good layout, fairways firm ok shape, got stuck behind 2 foursomes who were slow but enjoyed the course, back nine tougher then the front, need to insure u hit good drives, sucked that beverage cart quit at around 1, didn't see any water stations

Have played the Phonecian many times over the years always enjoyed the 3 nines but not since they renovated the course due to developers, what a disappointment, will never go back, did not like the rerouted course layout

Great day at the Legacy, only thing that was negative was on back 9 ladies bathroom was locked and men's washroom was dirty, pee all over the toilet, other than great course

Have played Camelback padre 10 yrs ago enjoyed the course, Ambiente not so much, nothing against links layout but for craps sake many long walks from where I park ur cart to the green, I was tired just walking back and forth from cart to green and back, way to far away, it ruined our day

Have play the old layout at Phoenician golf resort, several times before the property development ruined this golf resort. The front nine made up from what remained of whatever nones that remained after the 🏠 ng development, the back I think is one of the original but not sure, overall was very disappointed as these courses where among our favorites to play before COVID, and travelling from Canada and playing it now I can't recommend to others..sorry play other course not Phoenician

Have played this course several times, no surprises, u get what see no more, it's not the best course nor the worst in the area, disappointed that beverage cart has no beer specials like the past but this is at every course have played in the valley, pace of play good on front slow on the back

Played Bali Hai 3 times, first time 12 yrs ago was impressed, and never played desert course before etc. Since then played many courses in Palm Springs, Scottsdale, Tucson, therefore Bali Hai now is an overpriced vegas strip golf course without any surprises except its too expensive. Have played many courses at half price of Bali Hai, and or more and are better value and play. Save your money, play somewhere else because if your playing course to get great pics of Mandalay bay, then your a sucker

Third time playing Bali Hai since 2010, I was blown away first time I played the course. Not anymore, after playing courses in Palm Springs and Scottsdale that have better layouts and rates are half of what Bali Hai charges, save your coin other courses to play in Las Vegas area that wont break the bank. Pace of play got worse on the back 9, saw course msrshal who didnt do anything.

This is 3rd time playing Bali Hai. First impression on my first round here in 2009 was wow, what a course and at that time think you could get late afternoon tee time for $79..
This time it was $129 per person. Hardly anyone on the course except for several foursomes 2 groups in front who by the back nine, we had to wait every hole. Lack of marshaling to move drunk groups along. Price of everything is outrageous. Compared to many courses ive played in scottsdale Bali Hai is way way overpriced for the course and amenties. Play it once for the experience after that find another course for half the price. Save your money for gambling.

Played on a very hot day, there was cart person for after 3rd hole then their shift was over. Tee tee time was at 11am but teed off of at 1030am. No coolers permitted on this course but snuck a small water cooler on which saved us from passing out since no beverage cart. I guess they expect you to be like a camel or fill your golf bag with warm bottled. No water stations I could see anywhere. Course was fine, nice views very good condition, but lack of beverage cart stupid on a hot day. Hopefully their members treated better or they drink gallons of water before round.

Very friendly starter, front nine much better shape than the back nine, back nine dandelions fairways. Bunkers were wet from rain but havent been raked for awhile. Greens ok, slow speed.
Course marshal for some reason on back nine decided to fix ball marks on ine hole, this was very disruptive when hitting into green. Pace of play was brutal as the course is not full of hazards. Waited every hole to hit. Appreciate the way the course celebrates the canadian mitary having several military vehicles, guns parked on the course to see.
If you can get cheap deal play, if not pass.

For a course of shortish length it was very challenging. No stupid holes or gimmicky just straight forward what you see is in front of you. The par 5s were very long from the back tees. The par 3s were very good also. Greens were excellent. Sneeky quick in spots and challenging to read.
Definitely would play the course again.

First time playing course. When checking in staff not overtly friendly. Almost annoyed I booked with golf now it seemed. Greens had been punched so no expectations of making putts. Bunkers in general had firm sand. Layout was nothing special, with few dumb holes on front nine. Par 3 's where good except hole number 2. Long challenging par 5 holes for sure. Some target golf for sure, irons for position. If staying at golf resort at course would play either than that I wouldn't.

Fourth time playing Casablanca golf course, and by far the worst conditions. I realize that it is mid July in mesquite, but having just played 4 rounds in Scottsdale, where the course conditions under similar weather were in good shape I was very disappointed. Had to play the round in under 2.5 hours because they closed at 230pm. Several fairways were closed to cart so had to run to ball then back to cart. All fairways and rough were aerated which sucked. The bunkers were hard packed sand but the greens were watered and puttable.
I suggest golf elsewhere this time of year.

For a course that used to be a private course disappointing experience. Course except for greens were in rough shape. Bunkers were hard packed with stones.
Too many doglegs that you must reach the apex of the fairway to see the green
Safe your money, play other courses in the area.

First time playing the course in 28 plus years. Typical old Ottawa valley layout. Few doglegs that require you to work the ball both ways or you end up in the trees.
The par 3's are challenging that require at least one extra club to reach the services. Greens were average speed.
Cost with cart was $45, but in my opinion still too expensive for the quality of the course.

This course has a good layout with many challenging holes. Some wind the day we played which made it difficult. Played the back tees which was mistake. Fairways are not too wide and off the fairway is unkempt grass like farmers field. Once you hit into that area even by just few feet your ball disappears like a Houdini trick.
Green's were good but slow. Very friendly staff.
I would suggest even for good players to play blue tees or white.
