The staff in the clubhouse, bar, starters etc were all superb! The facilities are great as well. From my first visit it seems like they are running a great golf course and have great staff which is very important.

Drove from St. Petersburg, FL to Ocala to mix it up a little bit and find a different golf course. The course was in great shape, can't say one bad thing about it. Fairways and tee boxes were the best and greens were in great shape being early August in Florida. The clubhouse amenities looked nice but I didn't utilize much. The biggest draw and reason I would come back is because of the excellent service and attitude by Mike, the golf cart attendant. Great guy, very helpful and knows his stuff. He is the kind of employee businesses are looking for and should take care of.

Buffalo Creek is a decent course. I'd put it in the middle of the pack maybe slightly below but I've only played probably 10 other courses. The conditions were pretty bad but that's because the area hasn't seen rain in a long time! So the course was dry, crunchy and the greens were somewhat patchy. I've seen worse but when it rains it will get better. On this day the pace of play was bad but I've had it great other days.

Originally from the MN/WI area and now in Florida, this is one of my top 3 courses to play when I come back and visit. Great mature trees, elevation changes and each hole has its own character. Weather was great but I forgot my bug spray. I definitely recommend this course.
