Skylinks at Buchanan Fields

Buchanan is like a second home to me. Them taking the leap to golf now is questionable but I foresee several bad reviews coming their way because of it which is why I am writing this review. The course itself is extremely average and it can be way to slow sometimes but the people that I have met here make it all that much better. I play buchanan any chance that I get and play quarters with a group of normals at twilight. You get what you pay for when it comes to golf and the staff are a split between the nicest people ever and complete dicks. If you're going to buchanan for the first time don't be upset if you don't start at your set tee time and don't play in the early morning as older folks crowd the course. Again I'm not sure if the staff are ready for golf now but they need the business so if you're questioning it go for it with an open mind.
Lake Chabot Golf Course - The 18 Hole Course
Played On 02/05/2015A course with lots of potential
I played Chabot for the first time not knowing what to think. What I came out of my round thinking was how poor this course was. The layout is pretty cool with all of the elevation changes but the overall conditions of the course were dreadful. Just about every tee box was in horrible condition but my biggest complaint has to be the greens and how every single one is a small circle. With all of the elevation changes you sometimes were underneath the green so being able to see what section of the green the flag was placed was impossible. I'd maybe be okay with this if there was a flag indication in the cart but there wasn't. This was especially poor on the par 3's including what I think is 9 (The huge drop down hole) because playing from the blues you can't even see the green from the tee box. There are some positives from chabot being some very fun holes with great views of the bay.
