Rough around the edges

This course was a great value. It is decent layout and the overall condition was very good. I think the greens had been hit by recent snow in the area. They were patchy looking, but rolled true all day. I'll play it again on my next trip to Phoenix.

Where Have All the Fairways Gone?

I have played Wilmette for many years and was excited for the renovation in 2014. I love what they did to improve all aspects of the course. But there have been consistent problems maintaining the fairways in even moderately good condition. After a promising spring, 2018 is no different. The fairways are hard, bare in many spots, crusty in others, and rarely lush. Not sure what the problem is, but I think I’ll make this course a once in a while stop rather than my ‘go to’ golf course.

I’m back!!!!

Wilmette is a great new (4 years) layout that had some turf issues last year, but the condition this spring, despite the lousy weather is very good.

Very friendly staff greet you and the rat is up to you. Profits is straightforward and a good test for golfers at any level. No frills, that's for sure, but a good track and well worth a visit.
