No alerts online that they let everything die down to dirt for reseeding

I'll never play this course again. My friends wife is battling cancer. Something came up and he was unable to make our early morning tee time. Most courses are okay with this, especially considering that the next tee time the course was able to swindle anyone with wasn't for another hour. They didn't say they were going to charge me for them but a month later I get an email saying they are requesting I pay them $21 for the person that couldn't make it. The course wasn't even worth $5 that day.

By far, I've never played a course in worse condition. There were no alerts online when I booked the tee time but apparently they were closing down for reseeding as soon as we finished up our round. The staff tells us to make sure we don't lick our golf balls because they have already put a toxic chemical all over the greens. We start playing the round and soon notice that all the grass is dead and only dirt is left. Even the fairways were dirt. We were all very upset there weren't any warnings and had to pay $20+ for such a bad course. The icing on the cake was they requested more money for my no show friend when they should have been giving us our money back.

Great Eagle has lost me as a customer.

Staff harassed us the entire round

We had a large group (12) for a birthday/baby shower party and we thought golf would be a fun idea. Unfortunately we picked this course for our celebration. When we arrived we were greeted with comments about state law not to bring our own drinks and that there are notes in the system that one member of our group had a slow pace of play last round. When that member of our party tried to get more information about why those notes are in the system about him considering he hadn't played the course in 8 years he was met with a loud "I'm not going to argue with you" from the pro shop attendant. OK, not the best start to the day but we can get out on the course and overcome it. Not a chance as the ranger then continued to follow our group around and harass us about drinks. He accused of bringing our own drinks because he found a shooter in the trash can 3 holes back from us. He then said if we don't dump it out right now we will be sorry. Are you kidding me, we had spent $800+ and this is the experience we were granted. The day probably being ruined at this point we carried on with our round. A couple holes later the cart girl came around (who was very nice) this being our 2nd purchase from her we bough $60 worth of drinks to get us through the back 9. We then proceeded to the tee box where we were again greeted by the ranger who started in again on us that we were falling behind the group in front of us. So we got in trouble because they thought we brought our own drinks and then we got in trouble when we tried to buy drinks from them. RIDICULOUS! To put the cherry on this sundae we were again backed up on the very next hole as we caught up to the group in front of us without issue. Would never play here again.
