After 20 year of golfing in the Scottsdale/Carefree area, I was surprised by Dove Valley Golf. I have spent the past several years playing golf at The Boulders, Troon, Grayhawk and others. These are all GREAT golf courses. The problem is that they are not the friendliest on the wallet. I found Dove Valley Ranch to be a great combination of solid Desert Golf, playability for all skills levels, great conditions, FRIENDLIEST STAFF and nice on the wallet. I found the course to wonderful to play. Being a former PGA Golf Professional I was really impressed by every facet of The Dove Valley Ranch facility. I even returned the next day to have my 15 year old daughter play. She is a high school player and she found the course very playable with just the right amount of challenge to kee things interesting. Side note: this is a Robert Trent Jones Jr. Design. It has all of the marks of some of his more notable designs, with a focus on all playing levels at Dove Valley Ranch. Highly Recommmend!!
