Fox Harbr’ is a resort style golf course designed by famed Canadian architect Graham Cooke. I have played many of his courses and they are all great. I recognized many design features in his courses.
Upon entry onto the property, nothing but first class. The amenities are excellent from the lodging, the restaurant, the spa, the indoor poll and of course the clubhouse. You will not be disappointed in making the drive to North Wallace NS.
The front nine is a parkland style golf course with lots of trees and some ponds. The back nine plays like a links style course. It is situated along the Northumberland straight separating NS for PEI. You will find great scenic views. Be forewarned, bring your phone and take lots of pictures, you will not be disappointed!

What a golf course! I’ve had the privilege of playing the Old Course in St. Andrews, best course I’ve every played. Cabot links is a very close #2. It plays like a links course as the fairways and greens are hard and fast. Keeping the ball on the ground is a definite advantage in scoring well. Unlike a true links course, Cabot Links has some elevation changes that you would not see on a links course. I really enjoyed the challenge!

Spoke to a few friends who come from Nova Scotia and they said this is a great course. They were right. Situated on the Cabot Trail on Cape Breton Island, this course deserves more recognition than it gets. The tee boxes, fairways and greens were very good. The views of the mountains were awesome to see. The routing is excellent and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this golf course situated in a little Acadian community! I would play this course over and over again!

Highland Links is a top 100 golf course in Canada, deservedly so! The routing is excellent as a golf course was carved into a forest in the highlands of Cape Breton Island. Famed course designer Stanley Thompson carved a masterpiece of a golf course.
The views are fantastic, the course is well maintained. And who said the fairways are fair? Well, even if you are fortunate to drive your ball in the fairway, rest assured you will not get a level lie! Due to this fact, this is not an easy golf course. Definitely a must play for sure though!

I first played Algonquin in the early 2000’s. Did not think much of it then as the course was ragged, tee boxes uneven and greens were fury. I had heard that improvements were made! And how!
This is a must play course in New Brunswick Canada. The course was redesigned a few years ago. Fairways and greens are what you would expect of a first class private golf course. Many trees were removed on the back nine which runs along a bay separating Canada from the USA. You will be amazed by the views!
The course definitely deserves to be amongst the 100 top rated courses in Canada! Loved every minute of the round!

Played this course while on vacation, played it three times. The course is very scenic with many changes in elevation. Fairways are nice and wide, rough is very playable but will penalize you if you do not strike the ball first. The greens could be better though, they were rough and patchy. They are small and very challenging. Listen to your caddy, they know the breaks!
The staff is very friendly. Our caddy for the three rounds was awesome! He quickly recognized our games, my wife and I, and suggested the most appropriate club for the situation.
All in all, a very good course, truly enjoyes playing this track!

I know this was father’s day but... we quit after 14 holes as had we finished this would have been a 5 hr 15 min round. Unacceptable! Where was the player’s assistant, did not see one all day. And to boot, 2 tall boys cost me $20.00, way too much. Margin on this beer is over 65%, highway robbery if you ask me. Too bad because Legends is a nice facility and it will be a long time before I go back.

North Shore is a great golf course to spend time with friends and enjoy the layout. The course is well designed, the fairways were better than good. There were however some patchy areas but that is understandable at this ti,e of year.

The greens at North Shore are well maintained and roll true. If you miss the putt, it’s on you!.

I do have one recommendation though, the white tees are a about 5900 yards and the blues are listed at 6500. The white tees were too short for me and the blues too long. Combo tees should be considered, that is a mix between white and blue on certain hole so that the combo tees play around 6100 yards.

Other than that, it was a grat day and I highly recommend this course.

Wow, what a course. Love these old style golf courses. Truly enjoyed my round. Right from the get-go, we were warmly received it the proshop. The gentleman (should have gotten his name) was warm and kind. It was like he knew me for years. He was helpful i guiding us. This was probably the best checking in process I ever went through.

As for the course, although it is short from the tips, your tee shot me be accurate if you want to score. The fairways are nice and the ball rolls out. The greens were some of the finest I have seen in Florida at this time of year. Although they were a little slow for my liking, the ball rolled true. The green complexes are raised, so take an extra club to get the ball to the right level.

My friend and I loved the course so much, we will play it again in a few days.

The course layout is phenominal. Mixture of short and long par 4’s that are fun to play. Fairways are hard and the ball runs a long way. There is a premium in being in the fairway. Bermuda greens are bumpy, well defined. It would be even better if there were rolled.

The only negative was the starter. We were a little late due to traffic coming in. He did not leave us with a good first impression. The rest of the staff were delightful and courteous. This course is fun to play!

It is a shame that this course is in rough shape. With a little money, this course could be awesome. The layout is great, the fairways are wide and there are no blind shots. Water comes into play on a few holes but it is easy to avoid.

What is disappointing is the shape of the greens, they are extremely rough and not well maintained. Most putts bounced many times on their way to the hole, so much so that my ball continually deviated from the target..

Played Ventura today, had lots of fun. Pace of play was ok as there was a foursome ahead who took their time. Overall, the pace was alright.

For a shorter course, you need to be able to hit your spots. Fairways are wide open, there are not many blind tee shots. The greens are somewhat raised. Hiting the center in regulation will provide you with birdie opportunities.

Had the pleasure of playing with a couple from Iceland, a truly enjoyable couple who play more than 180 rounds a year. I really had lots of fun today. An overall great golfing experience!

The Panther at Plantation is an awesome golf course. I would recommend it to all who travel to this area. The greens are probably the best greens I have ever played, they are fast and furious. Make sure to keep the ball below the holes as you don't want too many downhill puts. The course layout is great, mixture of long and short par fours, challenging par 3's and fairly easy par 5's. On good drives, you can probably get home in 2.
All in all, an awesome course to challenge your skills!

Myakka Pines is a very good public course in the Venice Fl area. It is very playable as there is not much trouble. The fairways are wide and the greens are ok. A little shaggy for my liking. All in all, this is a very good course.

The Bobcat is one of my favorite Florida courses. The layout is interesting, wide open and fair. The fairways and greens are immaculate. If you can stay away from trouble, you will score well. The green complexes are large and undulating. Three puts are not uncommon if you are above the hole. Truly enjoyed playing this course.

If you are in Western Michigan, you should consider playing this course. What makes the course challenging are the undulating greens. This is a course you must play a few times to score well as the greens are difficult to read.

The first few holes are very tight with trees lining the fairway, it is target golf. Too bad they had to change the 12th hole from a par 5 to a par 3 on account of new condos having been built. All in all, this is a good course to play.

This course is awesome! Great layout, the holes were picturesque, all of them presented a different challenge. Not one weak hole on this course, I could play it every day. What makes this course challenging are the greens. Very undulating, you have to miss in the right spots to score well. If you have the chance to play this course, it’s a must do!

The International Course at Champion's Gate is probably the best Orlando Course going. It's sister course the National is no slouch either as we played both on the same day. A great 36 hole day! The fairways are excellent and the greens are fast and true! A pleasure to play and highly recommended!

I played this course eight years ago and it has been redesigned in the last few years. I loved this course then and love it now. Fairways are wide and generous, it is a well maintained course. As for it being a resort course, the only drawback is the difficulty of the greens as they are very undulating, to the point of being very unfair. Despite this, this is a must go to course in the Orlando area.

La Bête at Gray Rocks Resort is a great Doug Carrick Design. The front nine has many elevation changes that are picturesque. The back nine from the Blue tees is very challenging, you have to hit the ball in the right spot to have a chance at making par. This is not a walking course. I would have two suggestions to make: 1) The fairway bunkers need to be improved or taken out as they are nothing but clay. 2) As the tees and greens are elevated, you have to be part billy goat. I would suggest that stairs be put in to difficult to reach tees. Otherwise, this course was a joy to play and would play it again and again!
